Continuity mistake: The sky (sun versus clouds and color - blue, white, or gray) changes frequently during the few minutes when Lara is leaving the site until she returns to retrieve her bag. Before she falls into the hole, the sun is shown near the horizon, about to set, but the sun is shining on her in the hole. A setting sun would not be able to emit rays into a distant hole. Continuity mistake: While driving to Harper's house, Jordan did not have the sun visor down, but it was down when she was backing up after she passed Harper's house, #237. The sun visor was not down when Jordan was going down the driveway to the house. (00:17:15)

Continuity mistake: The top of Brecken's head was close to (within a few inches of) the headboard before his mother brought the pillow. When his mother put the pillow over his face and the camera shifted to a right-side rear view, the upper part of the bed was raised about 45°. When Lang Dotrice (Brecken's father) arrived and sat on his bed, the pillow used to smother Brecken was at least a foot away from the headboard and Brecken's head (still under the pillow) was about a yard away from the headboard. Continuity mistake: The time of day changes multiple times during the first half of the movie. When Danny is talking to Papi, Papi is outside and the sun is in the west indicating late day. In Danny's angle the sun is right overhead. There are multiple times when it is full on overcast in one angle and cloudless blue sky in the next.
Continuity mistake: Poirot is admiring the Sphynx. He reaches for his drink; in the wide shot you can see that the yellow bookmark inside his Baedeker's is curled in a loop, but it's perfectly straightened in the close-up. (00:16:45)

Continuity mistake: On the beach at Lyme, while talking with Captain Harville, his jacket can be seen buttoned properly. The scene cuts to the other characters with Wentworth, and when it returns, Harville's jacket button has come loose. The scene cuts again and is fixed on return.
Continuity mistake: Young Norma Jean is shown a photo of her father placed at the head of her bed. It has him facing right and there is a large white defect in the photo at the upper left corner. When the photo is "talking" to her in a succeeding scene, he is facing left, and the defect is on the upper right corner.
Continuity mistake: Jail cells have a rectangular slot with an outward flat extension for setting down food trays. The guard checks cells after "lights out" and there are no flat extensions for trays. (00:23:50 - 00:24:35)
