Continuity mistake: In the opening scene young Cal has scrapes on his face after he misses the roof jumping with his bike, in the next scene when he finds his mother dead his face has no scrapes, and then in following scene he is running and has scrapes on his face again.
Continuity mistake: When they are in the big hall he goes to demonstrate that he can shoot. He shoots 5 arrows. When you see the arrows hit the bowl only three hit. (00:32:00)
Sometimes he shoots 2 at a time. He does shoot 3 times, but he shoots five arrows.
The correction is valid. He never shoots 2 arrows at once. You may need to watch in slow motion if you can't see what happened. He grabs 3 arrows with his right hand and keeps them in his hand as he shoots 1 arrow at a time. This is probably most obvious on the 2nd shot where you see the 2 arrows in the bow, but when he releases his hand, you see one arrow still in his right hand and 1 arrow leaving the bow.
He starts holding all 3 arrows, shoots 1, reloads holding 2, shoots 1, then reloads and shoots the last arrow.
Continuity mistake: Shortly after the start of the film, the heroine meets with the Mother Superior of the orphanage that she is staying at, and just behind her is the cockeyed supervisor, M. Luteau. During the scene he disappears abruptly to allow for a pan out of the property, far too fast for him to have merely walked away.
Continuity mistake: The wounds that Juda got on his face from the fall from the horse at the beginning of the film, disappear the very same day.
Continuity mistake: During the last great battle with Apocalypse, Beast hurls an entire automobile at Storm, and she recoils in fright. Before the car crushes Storm, Psylocke slices the automobile in half, with the two halves separating by several feet (at least 10 feet) before the shot changes. But in the next shot, the two halves of the car crash down on either side of Storm, separated by only a couple of feet.
Continuity mistake: While Col. Vosch talks with Cassie and her family at the camp the sun changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Peter and Clavius are sitting and talking, Peter's scarf changes position around his neck and shoulders.
Continuity mistake: When Kadgar is telling Lothar about the great gate and that the Guardian burned his research, both of them go to pick up a chest, which they were doing anyway, but instead the scene switches to them both sitting down to talk, and the chest has gone. (00:52:00)
Continuity mistake: When Rodrigues finds the words "Laudate eum" on the wall, the close-up shot shows both his hands on the wall, but when the shot cuts, one hand is suddenly over his mouth. (02:11:40)
Continuity mistake: The crew arrived at the volcanic island in turmoil, and are talking with the local captain. The captain asks them to carry also some of the dead people, and they start asking him what the plan is, if there's one at all. The pass at the neck of the captain shows the side with the symbol in one shot, the blank one in the next. (00:25:10)
Continuity mistake: While Jax is held against the wall by two of the Furies it shows her bare feet held off the ground. As she moves across to Sinbad after he plunges the sword into the third Fury she is wearing flip-flops. (00:29:17 - 00:29:54)
Continuity mistake: When time freezes, we see the Hatter's family freeze in the ant farm. When time is mended, he holds the farm close, and his family should have unfrozen at the top of the sand, but they aren't there.
Suggested correction: You might have to look closely, but they are there.
Continuity mistake: During Kirk's birthday party at the end, Scotty's hair is a different style and colour than the rest of the film. He also has a beard, but there is no time for him to have grown one since this is supposed to be a few days after the battle with Krall.
Continuity mistake: After their fight with the monkey Sara has some scratches on her forehead and cheekbone but when she gets to the castle with Freya they are gone.
Continuity mistake: The sun angle changes several times during the chase sequence when the dragon is on the flatbed truck.
Continuity mistake: During dinner at the Goldsteins', the dishes are empty from one shot to another.
Continuity mistake: In the first scene, the old alien man comes to pick up his spaceship and Ratchet instructs him to "Now, let's fire up that mag booster." The old alien pushes the switch forward to start the mag booster. Later in the movie, Ratchet flips the switch backwards to "engage mag booster" as Clank commands. (00:06:30 - 00:26:30)
Continuity mistake: When they are at Sarah's house, the boy's father tells her to go outside and ask Lucas to pull the van around back. When Sarah walks to talk to Lucas her long braided hair is tucked into her shirt and her arms are crossed. In the next shot when the camera comes back, her hair is on the outside of her shirt despite her arms still being crossed. (00:45:55)
Continuity mistake: When Jasper takes Tulip to meet her family, Tulip gives Jasper her iPhone so he can take a video of her. After Tulip hesitates to ring the doorbell and walks away, Jasper still has her iPhone since she never took it back from him.
