Revealing mistake: After Tintin has thrown the Crabe Extra tin in the bin, he continues to walk along the sidewalk. Snowy then growls sounding annoyed at the can and he begins to walk along the sidewalk also. The shot then zooms in on the tin resting in the bin and it can be noticed that the tin visibly tilts. Whatever are you doing?" and the other detective is shown stopping next to Tintin, altering the position of his cane. As soon as he stops altering the cane, the bottom of the cane is shown, through Tintin, overlapping with the bin. (00:04:15)

Revealing mistake: After Tintin has noticed Snowy gnawing on the bone, Tintin says "Let's just darken these letters and see what comes up". During the shot of him darkening the letters, the area of the letters on the wrapper that were darkened is differently animated than the area that hasn't been darkened yet. For example, the area of the letters on the wrapper that had been darkened is a dark white color. But the area that hadn't been darkened is a bright white color. This goes for the areas that weren't darkened by the pencil at all. (00:05:30)

Revealing mistake: When Tintin is in his apartment and overhears his neighbor yell out "Help! Kidnappers!", Tintin runs over to his apartment balcony, to see two people tackling Kuraki. The car right next to them, at this point, is tilting. (00:05:55)

Revealing mistake: After Snowy has escaped the bad guy with the club, the scene cuts to Allan talking with Thomson and Thompson about Daws' death being an accident. The scene then cuts once again to Snowy running up a flight of steps. There is a hand rail on the banister, but it was incorrectly drawn. The hand rail is shown tilting, from right to left to right. Revealing mistake: After the crew member with the club has knocked out Tintin, he begins to chase after Snowy. Snowy begins running and stops when he runs into one of the crates. On the opposite side of the crate, at the very bottom, patches of color are visibly missing from the crate.
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
