Continuity mistake: While Johnny and Roy are with Dixie at the nurses' station, when Johnny looks for his paycheck in his shirt pockets, his right pocket's flap stays wonky, part in/part out in the closeup, but in the wide shot it's properly flat, then crooked, then straight again. Additionally, after Johnny finds the check in his wallet, he puts it into his left shirt pocket and points at Roy with his empty right hand, but when Early walks over Johnny has that check in right hand.
Continuity mistake: During the scaffold rescue, when John climbs onto the platform he takes off his gloves as he starts to check the victim, but in the wide shot the stuntman is still wearing his gloves as he checks the victim.

Continuity mistake: During the basketball game against 16, when Chet is finally in The Game at halftime, 51's side of the court is at the right of the screen, but in the closeups of Chet's shot going into the hoop - scoring, we can tell by the wall and backboard that a bunch of his baskets are actually going into the hoop on the other side of the court, behind him.
Continuity mistake: When the woman from the car accident is in the ER, and goes into V-fib, Brackett, Morton, Roy and Johnny work on her. Continuity mistake: Before they bring in the young girl who fell (with a dog bite), Dixie tells Brackett that she'll set up for her in treatment 1, and after Squad 95 brings her in, when Brackett and the paramedic (Donald Mantooth) leave the room we see that she is indeed in treatment 1, which is beside receiving. However, when Brackett takes the parents to see her, they go through the door that's between the double doors and treatment 2, which are on the opposite side of the hallway from treatment 1. Then in the next shot they're back in treatment 1.
Continuity mistake: When the guys are eating dinner talking about marriage, John's glass of milk is half full in the shot from behind him, but when Barbara calls the station and Captain Stanley answers the telephone, John's glass is nearly full in the shot facing him.

Continuity mistake: When Johnny, Roy, and Chet are at the site of the traffic accident, during this scene the shadows' lengths - from long, to short, back to long, and its directions keep changing drastically. Such as when Chet stands in the middle of the road, looking in the direction of the vehicle with the siren, his long shadow is cast to his left, but the oncoming vehicle also casts a shadow to its left (even though it's heading towards Chet), then in the next shot that vehicle's shadow has moved to its opposite side.
Continuity mistake: When Brackett is in his office talking to Patsy's manager, he's paged and then told, "Treatment room 2, STAT," and he answers, "On my way," but Brackett doesn't rush to treatment room 2, he goes to room 230 which is Patsy's room, and Early even calls for a code blue in room 230.

Continuity mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched to the attempted suicide, the dispatcher states that he's in apartment 2A, and when Roy and John arrive at the scene the police officer also says he's in apartment 2A, but when they get to the second floor they pass apt 2A and go to the apartment at the end of the hall.
