Character mistake: Bones tells Cam she isn't able to ascertain sex of the victim due to no pelvic bone. However numerous times in the show she is able to confirm sex with just the skull. What's different here? (00:03:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When Bones, Hodgins, Cam and Vincent work out the victim was hit twice and it's murder, a lime green tape marker is visible between Vincent's feet. (00:34:20)
Continuity mistake: The way Booth holds the taper recorder during the first interview changes between shots. Note his fingers. (00:18:00)
Continuity mistake: Booth picks up a large white picture frame of the victim and holds it in his left hand. When the camera changes he turns around and is now holding it in his different hand. (00:08:20)
Answer: Answering my own question here but, having contacted various people involved in the production of Bones including Kathy Reichs, Hart Hanson, Eric Milligan, and Deirdre Lovegood who portrayed Taffet onscreen I finally have the answer. No-one know how she did it due to her constantly working alone. And she never revealed this information before her death.
