Continuity mistake: When Arnie and Sam are following "animal man"'s blue van on their bikes down the busy road the vehicles on the road around the van change between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: Martha Jordan enters the room when Mr Robson is interviewing Brian about the assault on Jessica. As Brian leaves the room she walks towards Robson and a shadow of the camera and a sound man holding a boom mike can be seen on her green jacket.
Continuity mistake: When Justine intervenes when the grid iron crew are ganging up on Tegs, one crew member wearing a yellow T shirt with the number 55 under an unbuttoned white shirt drops his black helmet, which Ted picks up. When the crew run after Justine and Tegs as they run off, next shot on the stairs "number 55" is wearing the helmet, then as the crew chase after Justine and Tegs, as they leave through a fire door "number 55" is holding his helmet in his right hand.
Visible crew/equipment: There is a boom mike shadow on Mr Hopwood's shirt when he says "come on you lot, inside" to Pogo, Stewpot, Gripper and Denny, after Gripper and Denny threaten Pogo and stewpot in the corridor.

Visible crew/equipment: After Rosie and Suzi come out of Mrs Mccluskey's office, as Suzi says "hey Rosie" there is a boom mike shadow on the wall to the left of the door, then when Suzi goes back into Mrs Mcclusky's office there is another boom mike shadow on the wall.
Continuity mistake: In the canteen Doyle is next to Tucker, and puts his plate on the table before sitting down. The angle changes and Doyle puts his plate down a second time.
Visible crew/equipment: When the exhibition is being set up in the hall there is a boom mike shadow on the wall when Mr Mitchell walks over to speak to Trisha and Cathy.

Continuity mistake: In the second scene when Tucker, Alan and Dukesie are waiting for the bus, a London transport official removes the bus stop sign and tells them that the bus route has been redirected along another road. As the angle changes the parked vehicles in the road have also changed.

Visible crew/equipment: When Mr Sutcliffe returns to his class after telling Mr Llewellyn that he has a problem with Simon Shaw, a boom mike shadow can be seen on the back of the heads of the two pupils nearest the camera.

Visible crew/equipment: In the changing room after the football match, when Joey Singer and Simon Shaw are arguing a shadow of the camera can be seen on the wall behind Simon.

Episode #1.2 - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: As Mr Mitchell is driving through the school gates he has to brake sharply to avoid Benny Green who is playing football in the car park. Mitchell gets out to tell Benny off, the angle changes and the car has moved forward.
Plot hole: Chrissy is pushing her baby Jay in her pram into the school playground. Justine and Luke call out to her from an upstairs window, then come out to meet Chrissy. They come down from an upstairs floor to the playground in five seconds, which is not enough time.
Factual error: Justine and Maria are in Justine's bedroom. Justine is showing Maria the photos on her bedroom wall of her family and school friends. There is a photo of Banksie and Zammo on the wall. These two boys left Grange Hill at the end of series 10. Justine started in series 11, so she would not have known them.
Plot hole: Gripper, Woody, and Randir are suspended from school for two weeks after their involvement in the fight. Woody and Randir appear in the next episode, but Gripper doesn't return until episode 14.
Character mistake: Gripper tells Georgie that he and Denny are bunking off their next lesson to go to the cafe, but they do actually go to their next lesson where they find Randir writing on the blackboard.
Episode #7.2 - S7-E2
Other mistake: When Claire is asking her friends for their dates of birth for her bio rhythm calculator Anita says her date of birth is 25th October 1968, to be in this school year she would have to have been born between September 1967 and August 1968.
Other mistake: Hollo goes into the hall where Perry is with Louise, Cheryl and Julie after Hollo has taken Perry's money for the bet he says "hope you win, Perry". Hollo couldn't know his name when he hadn't met Perry before or been introduced to him.
Visible crew/equipment: When Mrs McCluskey parks in the school car park camera's and crew members are reflected in the side of her car.
