In the show, John Stamos's character's last name changes from Cochran to Katsopolis. I wonder if this change occurred sometime between the three different women used to play his mother and the two different men used to play his father. [Jesse's last name changes because his family wanted to really honor their Greek heritage, so they changed their name from Chochran to something more Greek, Katsopolis.]

Trivia
Jaleel White's guest appearances this season as Steve Urkel created a gaping plot hole in the second episode of Step by Step: in that episode, White also guest starred as Urkel, and interacted with the show's characters. But Step by Step treats Full House as a fictional television series; thus, Urkel couldn't have appeared as a "real" person, because he was a character on a "fictional" show. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

The house from the inside in the living room has the bay windows and then several feet and then the stairs, the house from the outside however has the bay windows and then the house ends. There is no room for stairs. [It is an illusion that the bay windows stop at the edge of the archway. If you look closely you will see that the windows extend beyond the archway and the stairs at the edge of the house line up with the edge of the window.]
All three of the Tanner children are blondes with blue eyes. Well if their father has dark hair and their mother was Greek (with dark hair and Mediterranean features), it is genetically impossible for all three children to be blond with blue eyes. Those traits are recessive. [If both their father and mother carry the recessive genes it is entirely possible. Not very common, but I know a family who it has happened to.]
In the first few episodes of Full House, uncle Jesse is introduced as Jesse Cochran. In later episodes he is known as Jesse Katsopolis. [This is actually addressed in an episode. Jesse was using Cochrine as his last name because it sounded more like a rock star name. They changed this because they wanted to give the family a kind of heritage and they chose Greek.]
The outside of the Tanners house seems small and the neighborhood seems cramped but when you are inside their house it is big. [That's the way MANY houses are in San Francisco; very narrow, but long. The Tanner house models this format. If you notice, the rooms extend throughout the house from front to back a lot more than side to side.]
In the opening credits, the camera closes in on the Tanner home, opposite a park. However, whenever anyone opens the front door throughout the series, you see houses opposite the Tanner's home. [In the opening credits the "Tanner house" is not in the background of where they are having their picnic. The houses in the background are actually a landmark in San Francisco called the "Painted Ladies". The Tanner house set actually just used a local house that was located at 1709 Broderick St in San Francisco. If you watch the houses next to the Tanner house they are not the same as the houses in the background at the park. There are houses across the street from the real house they used as the set.]
During one episode (I can't remember which one), Stephanie wants her ears pierced. Danny tells her that she has to be older like DJ was before he will allow that. Kimmy brings a earring gun to her house and pierces her ears and they get infected. But her ears were pierced from the first episode. [It is never stated that her ears are pierced. In the episode where she gets them pierced, her friend is digging through her jewelry box which is full of clip-ons.]
The Seven-Month Itch (1) (series 1)
After Jesse gives Michelle $5 after she sees him kissing his girlfriend, when Michelle walks out of the room, you can see the set's baby wrangler's foot in the doorway (it steps away quickly). [No, that's Danny coming to get Michelle out of the living room because he knows Jesse and his girlfriend want to be alone.]
Just One of the Guys (series 1)
Our Very First Night (series 1)
Stephanie and DJ use spray-in purple hair dye and change their whole hairstyle while they listen to Jesse's band play. Then their dad comes home, sends them upstairs, and in a matter of minutes their hair is back to its normal color, the same style as it was before they put the dye in it, and it's dry. They would have had to wash the dye out with water. [The girls still have purple dye in their hair when Danny comes up to talk to them.]
Our Very First Show (series 1)
After Vanessa comes to the door, and they find out that DJ moved out of the room, everyone starts going upstairs, and Jesse takes Vanessa's hand so she will go with him. In the hallway, right before they enter DJ's old room, you see Vanessa behind Jesse since you can see her peach dress. But then it's like she disappears and she does not ever enter the room. [She went into Jesse's room where we later see her when she says: "Did you know you have pink bunnies on your room."]

Lust in the Dust (series 3)
When Danny goes back to Karen's apartment, her couch bed is out and the couch cushions are nowhere to be seen. Then in the next moment when they are kissing, the couch cushions are on the couch as neat as a pin. [Actually, it wasn't a moment later. Karen had time to make some coffee before we saw the cushions were back on so Danny or Karen had plenty of time to put them on considering when they walked in Karen folded up the bed herself it wouldn't take but a few seconds.]
No More Mr. Dumb Guy (series 3)
In the scene where Joey is singing "If I only had a brain" from The Wizard of Oz, Joey sang, "With the thoughts you'd be thinkin' you could be another Lincoln if you only had a brain", as if he was the Scarecrow. In the movie it was Dorothy that sang that line. [That doesn't make it a mistake. Maybe he thought it was the Scarecrow]
Nerd for a Day (series 3)
When Stephanie comes home and tells them about "Duckface," she's wearing a white shirt and gray skirt. Then when "Duckface" shows up at her house and says she's his girlfriend, she's wearing a pink sweater and skirt. Then, after she comes home from school the next day, she's wearing the same pink sweater and skirt. [The reason Stephanie is wearing two different outfits is because it's two different days. She calls Duckface one day, and then it's the next morning when Duckface shows up at her house, which explains why she's int he pink outfit. She's still wearing it later on because it's still the same day, only later.]
The Hole-in-the-Wall Gang (series 4)
When Danny takes Michelle upstairs,he starts off going up the kitchen stairs, then when the camera changes seeing him head-on going up the stairs he is now coming up the stairs that start in the living room. [When Danny came up the stairs he went into the 1st door on the left which was his room, however in other episodes the 1st door on the left when coming up the living room stairs was the bathroom, therefore he came up the kitchen stairs. More than likely they used only 1 set of stairs for the upstairs shots.]
