Continuity: Just before Homer tries biting off the clamp, he is wearing a watch. But from then on it disappears off his arm until he is trying to figure out how many hours it is from 9-5.

Continuity: Just before Duff man arrives, Barney has loads of sweat on his shirt. But when Duff man pushes the big jug of beer towards him in the next shot, the sweat is gone.

Continuity: At the very start of the episode, Moe is wearing a watch. But in the next shot when all the guys come in, and all following shots, the watch is gone.

Continuity: When the camera pans down the Trade Center, there is no washing line there. But a few shots later, a washing line appears.

Factual error: The windows of the World Trade Center couldn't open and the Twin Towers weren't in front of each other as depicted in this episode. They were at an angle. Submitted by Dr Wilson

Continuity: When Bart is standing on the bench, Jimbo and Milhouse are standing in the front row, on the right side of the screen. But when there's the closeup (a second later), there are children shown in front of Jimbo and Milhouse and the girl with the purple hair is gone.

Continuity: When Homer pulls up to the stoplight, the number of cars in front of him changes. When he first stops, there are 3. When he gets out of the car, there is only 1.

Revealing: In 'Homega man', Homer goes into the bomb shelter and does not shut the door, and you can still see it open for a while after he is in there. Herman does not close it behind him - you can tell by his skeleton's position. But Homer opens the door to leave the shelter after he has eaten the food, and it must have been closed for him to have survived the atomic attack, because it vaporised Herman, who was only a few feet away.

Factual error: When the French launch their neutron bomb at Springfield, on it is written "Le bombe à neutron". The proper spelling is "La bombe à neutrons". Submitted by Dr Wilson

Continuity: At one point Marge says "no guns at the dinner table" and Homer says "you said the breakfast table", then Marge replies "it's the same table". In most episodes they eat dinner at a different table.

Continuity: The right handle plate on Homer's gun is fastened with two screws throughout the entire episode. But in the scene where he promises Marge to get rid of the gun and they hug in the kitchen, the gun is seen lying on the table with only one screw in the handle. Submitted by Twotall

Continuity: When the Home security seller is first seen, he steals an ashtray and a remote control off a speaker and turntable player both close to each other, When the shot changes the speaker and turntable player are much further away from each other.

Audio problem: When Homer is running for the food, after racing in the wheelchair with Jasper, he says 'Eat my dust' but his lips don't move for the 'my dust' part.

Continuity: When the garden is seen with Bart throwing Hymns into the fire Apu's mother starts to walk to him and she must walk through a curved green structure.In the next shot of Bart,the structure has gone.

Continuity: When we see the garden and Bart throwing Hymns into the fire the large tree is fully green. After the shot of Bart,the camera goes up and we see branches with no leaves on them though.

Continuity: When Apu walks down the isle the early shots show that Bart and Lisa are not amongst those either side.When Apu walks by,the shot goes to the ground and they have now appeared.

Continuity: In the scene where the real estate team learn that Marge has sold the murder house, Marge is wearing a red blazer but in the next shot which faces Marge's back the blazer is missing.

Continuity: When Marge finds out the Mr Hutz does real estate, the 'For Sale' sign changes from black to red and then back again.

Continuity: When Bart pulls the melted tree out of the house, a shovel appears out of thin air so he can shovel snow onto it.

Continuity: In the scene where Snake first comes in to shoot the Simpsons, after they sing, he starts singing. When turns his head then turns it back, he blinks and his eyes disappear.
