Factual error: In the village of Foy, you can see the church several times. That church was build in 1968. It's called Chapelle Sainte-Barbe.

Revealing: In "The Breaking Point," Lipton is narrating the bombardment of the woods right outside of Foy. Just before he says, "What I saw that day," at 30:55, you see a section of a tree explode, but when the debris (i.e. the splinters of wood and snow) clears you see that the "blown up" section of the tree is unharmed.

Factual error: When Malarkey and Jones are talking at the window, you can see a shot of the village Haguenau. Actually it is almost the same set-up of Foy again. Refer to the church.

Continuity: When Cpt. Nixon is running out of booze while he is playing poker with some other officers he is going out to take a walk. After a while he stops in front of a shop window and smashes a petrol can from a nearby jeep through the glass. There is a big hole in the window but not big enough for him to get through. Two shots later there is no glass at all in the shop window even though he never had the time to remove the rest of it.
