Continuity mistake: In S:1 Ep.10 Maddie says she'll be 15 in a week. Season 2 picks up 6 months later. In S2ep5 Bosch uses Maddie's birthday to access a computer. Password is 01/10/01. This makes the date sometime in July of 2016. Then in S2ep6 George Irving is killed, and the end of watch broadcast lists his date of death as 7/24/2015. This error is reinforced in S2ep10 when they show a plaque being mounted to honor George.
Chapter Ten: Us and Them - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: When talking with his ex-wife about his runaway daughter, Bosch says that she is on a bus arriving in LA at 7:30 and that he will be there to meet her. In the next scene, the establishing shot of the LA bus station slow pans past the station clock tower showing the time is 4:30. The daughter gets off a bus that arrives moments later.
Past Lives - S4-E4
Continuity mistake: When Eleanor is shot and falls on the ground, the position of her body changes in the overhead shot, more than performing CPR on her would move the body. Her left leg is over the white line, with the knee on line, and her right foot is touching the line at first. In the overhead shot, she's more parallel with the line, and only her left foot is touching the white line.
Continuity mistake: When Jerry is at the range, after he shoots one-handed and brings the target back, all the shots are to the right shoulder area. In the next shot of the target, the shot positions change and there's now two shots center mass and two off to the left.
Other mistake: During the transition scene after they're talking about the O'Shea video coming out and before Jerry is at the crime lab, there's a shot of traffic at night. But the film is ran backwards. All the cars are moving in reverse.
El Compadre - S3-E4
Continuity mistake: When Xavi racks the balls, their positions change dramatically when he takes off the triangle before the break. For example, the first ball is striped and then becomes a solid.
Continuity mistake: When Waits is in the transport van, his seatbelt goes from being on to off and back on.
Plot hole: A major plot device is Harry's fingerprints on a whisky glass at the murder scene. We see the glass being taken after he drinks from it at a bar. Why are there only his prints on it and not the bar staffs'? And why does no-one wonder why the victims prints aren't on it as well? If they think it is an attempt to frame him, why do they not even check if it matches any other glasses in the apartment or is an odd one out?
