Continuity mistake: Wan-ik is being questioned by Deok-mun. After Wan-ik says "How am I supposed to read it when it's covered in blood", he places the bloodied note he is holding on the table. A couple seconds later, he is suddenly holding the note in his hands again. (00:05:54)

Continuity mistake: When Hui-seong approaches the authorities who have Dong-mae tied up, Hui-seong raises his hat. The hat can be seen right in front of Dong-mae's face. When the camera changes angles, Dong-mae's face can be seen in the foreground, but the hat is no longer visible in frame. (00:11:30)

Audio problem: Deok-mun is approached by Eugene. There is a shot focusing on Eugene where Deok-mun can be seen in the corner of frame, where Deok-mun shouts "Is that why you came barging in here? This is a minister's residence." The movements of his mouth do not match up with the dialogue that is heard. (00:07:09)

Continuity mistake: When Moore is speaking with Minister Allen about continuing the investigation into Joseph's death, just after he finishes saying "It was a missionary who died", Allen can be seen lowering his hands. The camera then changes angles to focus on Moore, and we can Allen lowering his hands a second time. (00:39:53)

Trivia: Daily Mail journalist Frederick McKenzie takes a photo of the Righteous Army, which is stated to be the only existing photo of Korea's freedom fighters. This photo is a direct recreation of a real-life photo of the Righteous Army, taken by Frederick McKenzie (who was a real-life war journalist) and is to date, the only existing photo of Korea's freedom fighters.
