Other mistake: When Tsuda and Yamada are in Hayashi's office, Hayashi takes out a sword and executes Yamada. Based on the length of the sword, and the distance between where Hayashi was standing and where Yamada was kneeling, there is no way the sword could have killed Yamada. Tsuda was in between the two and the sword wouldn't have been long enough to reach Yamada given how far apart he and Hayahshi were. (00:17:10)

Continuity mistake: When Ae-sin shoots Tsuda, and he falls to the ground, in the shot where Tsuda falls over the area of the ground he is lying on is covered in light. The shot then cuts to Tsuda, and the area he is lying on is suddenly shadowed. (00:48:57)

Continuity mistake: Ae-sin is lying in her bed after her English lesson and learning about the word Love. There is a piece of fabric from her dress shown beside her pillow that changes position between shots. (00:25:12)

Continuity mistake: When Eugene finds the Pawn Certificate in the book, he unfolds it and holds it with four fingers on the back and his thumb on the front. When the camera shows a close-up of the certificate, he now has two fingers (as well as his thumb) over the front. (01:05:43)

Continuity mistake: Tsuda grabs So-a by the hair and takes her outside. When the two begin to walk outside, Tsuda does not hit So-a, but when they are outside there are suddenly blood stains on her face, even though Tsuda does not hit her until a few seconds after going outside. (00:46:55)

Trivia: Daily Mail journalist Frederick McKenzie takes a photo of the Righteous Army, which is stated to be the only existing photo of Korea's freedom fighters. This photo is a direct recreation of a real-life photo of the Righteous Army, taken by Frederick McKenzie (who was a real-life war journalist) and is to date, the only existing photo of Korea's freedom fighters.
