Mistakes
In the scene at the end of the movie where David and the President are making amends, as you view the President from David's POV (face on) his head is tilted to his right shoulder, however, as you view the President (from behind) as he is looking at David his head is tilted to his left shoulder. In Area 51 there is a large screen displaying the results of the nuclear strikes against the alien ships. Look under the screen and there is some text in green. Continuity: When David and Julius are playing chess at the park in Brooklyn, the slow decomposing styrofoam coffee cup, David's beeper, radio, removed chess pieces (not in play), etc., change position between shots, particularly in relation to the chess board.
