Gracie, Matthews and the rest are planning their operation, and as Harris says, "It's a logistical nightmare," in the close-up Gracie's second blouse button is open. As she walks towards the table, it's closed. In the close-up she says, "...prelims or maybe a TV broadcast," it's open. In the next shot it's closed again. Trivia
Whenever they show the director and equipment room of the pageant you can see a Canadian flag behind them and it has a circle around it with a cross through the maple leaf. You may need to zoom in on the DVD but it is there. It's rumored to be an inside joke because of how many movies are now being made in Canada, due to lower production costs there. See more...
When Gracie arrives at the hotel after her makeover, she and Victor get out of the taxi cab. She is not wearing her State name sash. But cut to the next shot and you will see that the sash is on over her right shoulder.
