A Bug's Life (1998)

Corrected entry: After Tuck/Roll break off one of Hopper's antennae, they break off the left antennae, later when Hopper gets eaten in the fight sequence, the side of the antennae that is broken off changes back and forth.

Correction: It appears to change because you're seeing him from the front, and then the back and then the front and then the back. It's always the same (left) antenna that is broken.

A Bug's Life (1998)

Corrected entry: You can see as PT Flea is walking away from the fly paper he has just torn himself off that the paper only just catches him on its edge as it falls, but when the shot goes back to where PT is floating in the water droplets, the burn mark around him on the floor is considerably larger than the area the fly paper actually fell on.

Correction: There is no possibility for the flypaper shadow to change because the camera doesn't move away from the scene for the entire shot. The size of the area of the flypaper is consistent throughout.

A Bug's Life (1998)

Corrected entry: In the opening scene, first shot, we see a bird fly left to right across a beautiful sky. A leaf falls into picture, causing ripples on water, a tilt-up revealing that we've been looking at a reflection on that water. The reflection of the bird was right-side up, but, as it is a reflection, the bird should have been seen as upside down. (00:00:30)

Correction: The shot is intentionally slightly blurry and while we see the outline of the bird, it's impossible to discern whether we are seeing the top or the bottom of the bird. It does appear to be the bottom (as it's only in a dark color and not with light reflecting off it, if it were the top of the bird), and so there is no mistake.

A Bug's Life (1998)

Corrected entry: When Dot first talks to Flik, she is holding his telescope he made and in the reflection of the telescope you see the same part of a hill, no matter where she points it.

Correction: The reflection changes several times during the scene, each with accurate reflections. The "lens" is quite large, so the reflection wouldn't change very much with the slight movements while she holds it.

A Bug's Life (1998)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film, where everybody's thanking the circus bugs, Heimlich the caterpillar's voice is heard saying, "Oh,thank you!" But later, we find out that Heimlich's been in a cocoon. He couldn't have been in the crowd and just left to make the cocoon, because it's impossible for a caterpillar to form into a butterfly that fast.

Correction: This is too vague - the departure of the circus bugs occurs over two different scenes. When exactly do you hear Heimlich? I've watched the entire two last scenes and can't hear him say "Oh, Thank you".

The Garage Sale - S2-E23

Corrected entry: While Debra and Marie are outside of The Garage Sale the wind is blowing quite strongly and blows Debra's hair all over the place in a big way. However, Marie's hair does not move at all, not even as a total unit, say if she had on a lot of hairspray or had been permed. The significant amount of wind would have caused some movement, no question. This suggests the fan was only pointed or primarily pointed in the direction of Debra.

OneHappyHusky

Correction: Marie's hairstyle is attained by using a pic to lift and shape it and then sprayings lots and lots and lots of hairspray to hold it. That hair does not move - ever. It only gets smooshed when you sleep on it. My mother's hair was the same way. Breezy days don't affect it.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: During the dinner scene at Armand's home, Armand and Val go into the kitchen. In one shot Armand is holding the pot of soup with a pad. In the next shot, he picks up the pot without a pot holder.

Hamster

Correction: I've watched this scene several times -- Armand always has the potholder on his left hand, at all times. Even after he slips and falls out of view and then gets up, before yelling at Agador.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: As Albert is looking through Val's memory album, the page he is looking at is inconsistent, evident by the changing photos / awards / papers etc.

Hamster

Correction: He's looking THROUGH the album, hence the changing photos / awards / papers etc.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: When Armand and Val are speaking about 'toning it down,' Armand gains three huge sweat marks on his chest between shots, which then change size and shape.

Hamster

Correction: Armand began sweating in the rehearsal scene just prior to the one you're referencing and the stains are very consistent. In fact, they become darker as time goes on. As he moves about the room, the bright sunlight in the apartment makes the stains appear less noticeable but they are consistently present through two scenes.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Armond gives Albert the palimony agreement, look at the scenery in the background. After the boat sails by, you see some buildings covered by huge scaffolding. When the shot is up close, there is no scaffolding in the background. Once the shot goes wide again, the scaffolding is back.

Correction: That's because it's shot at a slight angle toward the viewer's right. Obviously, the filmmakers wanted the location but didn't want the ugly background, hence the ship for the wide shot. The close-up shot was done at an angle to view the nicer background slightly to our right.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: In the kitchen scene, when Agador gives Armand the Turkish coffee, you can see a bit of the ironing board with the clothes basket on top of it. If you look to the right of the ironing board, there is an article of clothing on the end. However, in the next shot when Albert walks in, only the clothing basket is on the ironing board.

Correction: The beginning of the scene is shot closer in, toward Armand and Agador, so we don't see anything but the top of the basket until after Albert enters and greets Armand.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: Shortly after Fiona's dog is introduced, he is seen on the sofa while Shrek and Fiona are talking. The dog yips throughout the scene, but early on he yips twice and only opens his mouth once. Dogs must move their jaws when they bark, otherwise it sounds like a whine instead. (00:21:55)

Phoenix

Correction: The dog's barks are perfectly in sync. Most of the time he's yapping, he's hidden behind Shrek. When we do see him while hearing his barks, they are normal. He's quite small, compared to Shrek and Fiona, and given that small size and the fact that he's quite a few feet behind them, it may be hard to see his jaws moving, but there is no mistake here.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: Fiona knocks out Charming at the ball. Puss, sitting on donkey's back, holds the magic wand. They are 5-7 meters from the spot where Charming falls. There is a short clip where the Fairy Godmother talks with the King - and suddenly Charming grabs the wand from Puss. He couldn't have gotten up and over there so fast - and without anyone noticing.

Jacob La Cour

Correction: Everyone's attention was on the King and the Godmother. Everyone, including Donkey, moved closer to Shrek and Fiona during the conversation with the King and Godmother and it is entirely plausible for him to stand up and grab the wand.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: The hook handed man's voice changes between the two times he is playing the piano in the Poison Apple, due to the two different singers used to voice him. (00:26:35 - 00:58:05)

Correction: The 'hook handed man" is Captain Hook (from Peter Pan) and he is singing two very disparate pieces of music, the first very bluesy and calling for a gravelly voice and the second, a solemn piece. I know many people who sing differently depending upon the piece.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: The spoon Shrek uses to eat the 'soup' appears from nowhere between shots. It wasn't there previously when Shrek looks at the dinner set, and why would anyone bring it out if they don't need spoons until the actual soup is brought out? (00:15:25)

Hamster

Correction: There IS a spoon-like utentil attached to the bottom end of a fork, on the left side of his plate, in the initial setting. Obviously, it's not intended for the soup, but Shrek doesn't know this. The soup spoons are provided with the soup course.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: When Puss jumps down from Donkey and does his "cute" act, all but one knight raise their visors. Puss then drops his cuteness and attacks the knights. All of them now have their visors down, too quickly and without any noise. (01:12:00)

Correction: When Puss goes into attack mode, the only sounds we can hear are him yelling and loud music. As he flies over the heads of the guards, their masks fall back into place -- you can see this on several of them. And we can't hear this because the cat and the music are covering that sound.

Win, Lose or Draw - S1-E9

Corrected entry: Raymond is invited, by his father, to a friendly poker game. The dealer calls The Game, "Seven card, no peeking," then deals the cards. The first thing Raymond does is pick up his cards and look at them. This should have required him to match the pot and sacrifice his hand.

Correction: As you noted, it's friendly poker game. They obviously chose to cut him some slack since he was new and it was the very first hand dealt.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the Birdcage producer enters Albert's dressing room to ask Armand if he should send on Carmen instead of Starina, he removes his headset. However, in the next shot, he is wearing the headset again.

Correction: After we see the producer move the headset from his ears to his neck, the camera is on Armand, Albert, Armand again and Agador. By the time we see the producer again, there is more than sufficient time to replace the headset.

The Birdcage (1996)

Corrected entry: After Nathan Lane shops for "Piglet" aka Val, he comes home and says, "Good Morning Agador," and Agador Responds "Good Morning." But if you listen he does not use the gay voice. It is Hank Azaria's deep voice.

Correction: It's a sleepy, not-quite-awake-and-ready-to-face-the-world type of voice, like many people use early in the morning when they aren't fresh-faced and fully awake. And there is still a slight lilt to his voice, to remain in character.
