Corrected entry: When Frodo calls Gollum 'Smeagol' for the first time in The Dead Marshes, Gollum gets upset. Look around the two - the sky is quite dark, but in the next shot when they hear the winged Nazgul approaching, the sky is much lighter.

Correction: Just before that shot, Gollum says, "master should be resting.", and all around Gollum is thick fog. When Frodo gets up and stands near Gollum, he asks,"who are you?," behind Frodo the sky is becoming lighter on the horizon. It is dawn. Because it's foggy, in the close up shots, you can't see the sky. Only when the camera pans out, as the Nazgul screams, you can see the sky.

Corrected entry: When Frodo has the top of his shirt unbuttoned his mithril armor is missing. (02:50:23)

Correction: When Frodo's top two buttons of his shirt are open throughout FotR and TTT, there are moments when you can easily see the Mithril, then moments where you can only catch a glimpse of it and sometimes you can't see it at all, depending on the position of his collar. The Mithril hangs down low on his chest, so it wouldn't always be discernible.

Correction: This is not true. Though Orlando did do most of his own stunts, he did have a stunt double, named Morgan.

Corrected entry: In the Warg battle scene, Gimli is being charged by a creature and Legolas shoots it for him. He yells out, "That one was mine." and is surprised by another behind him. He strikes it, and it falls on him. Look at the axe in the shot where they fall - the handle is facing the wrong direction.

Correction: No it is not. Gimli hacked at the Warg, swinging from his right shoulder into the top of the Warg's head and that's where the ax stays.

The Art of War (2000)

Corrected entry: When Snipes and David Chan finally come face to face, Snipes literally drops in. Look closely and you will see a third person cowering and moving around a table between Snipes and Chan. At first you think this is David Chan's secretary but as the scene develops this unknown person simply disappears out of the scene.

Correction: When Snipes drops in on Chan's balcony, the older woman, who probably is Chan's secretary, simply leaves the balcony, when she sees Snipes' gun. Snipes isn't interested in her, he just wants Chan.

Corrected entry: After Aragorn kisses Boromir right after he dies, he gets up and says something about how the tower guards of Ecthelion will look for his coming, but he will not come. Where is the 3rd arrow in Boromir's chest/stomach?

Correction: When Aragorn stands over Boromir, the three arrows are there. The top arrow is clear, but look at the still shot, Boromir's hand is resting on his stomach between the middle and bottom arrow. In this shot, the horn of Gondor is below his arm.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: Gandalf (v/over): "We must walks over to Frodo and they watch Boromir sparring with the two other Hobbits. Pippin is wearing a white shirt and Merry is wearing a vest. Boromir is fighting with Pippind he says "Two, one, five. Good, very good." after he's done that short round with Pippin. Then he does a little fancy thing with his sword and turns to Merry. [You can identify Merry by his yellow vest] As Boromir fights with the hobbit, Merry moves backright shoulder near the camera, and then he disappears from view, all except his arm and his sword. Then the shot moves to Aragorn, with his pipe who says "Move your feet." The rhythm of the clanking swords continues without break but after the camera moves away from Aragorn, Boromir is suddenly fighting with Pippin again. Then Merry says "You look good Pippin." You can also tell that it changed from Merry to Pippin, because Merry's sleeves are larger/puffier that Pippin's and they are also longer. (00:05:25)

Correction: Go back and advance that scene shot by shot and you will see that you are wrong. Boromir twirls his sword and only looks at Merry, but continues to fight with Pippin. It is Pippin's shoulder, arm and sword that are shown close up, fighting with Boromir. Pippin has a white shirt, that has a decorative color thread running through it on the cuffs and on the front of the shirt. Pippin is fighting with Boromir the whole time, until Merry says, "You look good, Pippin," at which point Boromir starts to fight with Merry.

Corrected entry: When Aaron picks up Sarah, he's wearing a red plaid shirt, but when he passes her at the party, he's wearing a green and gray striped shirt.

Correction: Aaron is wearing two different shirts because it is two different nights.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: When Peter is taking the sleeping pills, you can see the outline of someone standing outside his window.

Correction: If you look frame by frame, it's only the movement and shadows of the trees.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: In the scene where Widow is holding the gun up to Peter's head in the car, he falls out of the car and the back door behind the driver's seat is opened. In the next shot, the door is shut as Peter drives off.

Correction: After Widow falls out of Peter's car, you can see the back door, as it's closing, when the car speeds forward.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: Simba is taken to a small pond through roots of trees and thorns and bushes by Rafiki to show him where Mufasa is. Soon after, Mufasa appears in the clouds, reveals to Simba who he really is, and disappears. The place where Simba stands shows no trace of the path covered.

Correction: The grass is tall and thick all around Simba. There would be no discernible paw prints from the side 'camera' angle, possibly only if it were veiwed from above.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: In the stampede scene, Mufasa is crawling up a slanted slope, but when we get an overhead view, it's straight down.

Correction: When viewed from the top of the rocky cliff, the steepness of the rocks isn't clear, so the view we have is more dramatic for the shot. It's only from a side view that can we see the incline.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: Near the end, When Zazu is in the cage of bones and Timon runs in with him because two of the hyenas are chasing him, Pumbaa follows them. Banzai is in front, and Shenzi is by the cage. Banzai calls Pumbaa a pig, and Pumbaa charges. We get a view of the two hyenas, and they have switched places.

Correction: During this scene, both Shenzi and Banzai are in front of rib cage facing Timon and Zazu. We the viewers see them through the ribs. When Pumbaa charges at Shenzi and Banzai, they haven't switched places, they're still in front of the rib cage, they've just turned around to face a charging Pumbaa and the 'camera' angle is different.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: When Rafiki grabbed some of the dust that Simba had blown, Rafiki grabs a fruit thing form the tree, he breaks it in half and starts to eat the one half. Yet, when he puts his hand down to hold the turtle shell, and he gets up to go over to put the mane on Simba's picture, the fruit is gone and the turtle shell as well. (00:53:00)

Correction: If you scrutinize this whole scene frame by frame you will notice when Rafiki is sitting with the turtle shell and fruit, he glances to his right (at Simba's picture on a tree to Rafiki's right). The next shot pans Simba's picture then it goes back to where Rafiki is sitting with the turtle shell. Rafiki jumps and runs to get his 'staff'. He runs back to the tree that has Simba's picture on it, past where he was sitting with his turtle shell.

Corrected entry: When Mufasa and Simba are sitting atop Pride Rock there is a river to the right (South). When you see them walking with Pride Rock in the background the river has moved North.

Correction: The sun is rising facing the front of Pride Rock. The river is to the right (South) of Pride Rock. It flows East/West past Pride Rock then in the next couple of shots you can see it curves Northward. There is nothing unrealistic here.

Corrected entry: When everyone thinks Simba is dead, Rafiki (the monkey) is sitting on a branch beside the drawing of Simba. Later, when he finds out Simba is alive, the drawing is near a platform, not a branch.

Correction: When Rafiki thinks Simba is dead he's sitting on the overgrown roots of the tree that has Simba's picture on it. Simba's picture is on the same tree later. There is no platform.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: When Zazu is telling Scar that Mufasa is very angry because he didn't show up at the funky show-Simba-off thing, after Scar spits Zazu out, Zazu is covered with saliva. When he is hiding behind Mufasa's leg, however, he is perfectly dry. Isn't that kind of strange?

Correction: When Scar spit Zazu out, Zazu certainly had enough time to flap his wings a couple of times (off camera) to dry himself off. We don't have to see it to know that's what a bird would do when it gets wet. Then he hid behind Mufasa's leg.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: In the beginning scene when Scar and Zazu are talking, Scar's back paws change from one scene to another. He is laying down when this happens. They have black claws at first then they change and are gone when it shows him again.

Correction: Lions extend or retract their claws, depending on their mood. So, throughout this scene Scar either has his claws extended or retracted, as does Mufasa.

Corrected entry: In the battle with the warg riders where Aragorn goes over the cliff, his sword is not in its sheath when he tumbles. Yet later, as he drifts up on the shore, his sword is sheathed and safe. Did he return it to the scabbard as he fell?

Correction: Just after Aragorn stabs a warg rider, and gets knocked off his horse, he puts his sword back into its sheath off camera, just before he jumps onto the warg with the other warg rider. When he jumps onto that warg, do still frame and you can see the sword is sheathed. You can also see the sword in its scabbard after he stabs the orc with his knife (Lorien gift, see handle) just before he goes over the cliff.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: After Pippin has spit out the elven brooch for his friends to find it, what is holding his cloak? First I thought it was the scarf, but this can not be. Especially when he is in Treebeards hands you can see that the scarf is UNDER the cloak.

Correction: At the 'gift giving' in the FotR, zoom in as the leaves of Lorien are being pinned onto the cloak. There is some kind of a 'tab' between the corners of the cloak, for a button perhaps, right behind the brooch. You can see this 'tab' during any number of closeups on Pippin in TTT.
