Continuity mistake: In the scene where Harry is stabbing Tom Riddle's diary for the last time, he closes the book and we see a close up of its cover, covered in ink. In the next close-up of the diary its cover is clean, and a small blue dot (where the ink subsequently squirts from) is visible in the centre for Harry to aim the tooth at. (02:15:45)

Visible crew/equipment: In the dueling scene, when Snape pulls Malfoy back onto his feet, a cameraman is visible kneeling down on the far left of the screen (Widescreen version only). (01:07:46 - 01:20:00)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where the students are in Professor Lockhart's Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson you see that when Professor Lockhart lets out the Cornish Pixies, two of the pixies pull Neville Longbottom up by his ears and hang him on a chandelier. Because the pixies were computer-animated, they had to put clips behind Neville Longbottom's ears to make it look like he was being lifted up by the pixies. When he was dropped onto the chandelier by the pixies, you see his ears are still in a stretched position where the clips are. (00:37:00)

Revealing mistake: When Uncle Vernon picks up the letters for Harry and tears them up, you can see cuts in the envelopes, in order to make it easier for him to tear all of them at once. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: When the three children get past Fluffy because the harp is playing, as Fluffy wakes he dribbles on Ron's shoulder. However, when they fall down into the Devil's Snare, his shirt is completely dry. (00:51:16)

Continuity mistake: At the start of term feast, after Harry is sorted into Gryffindor, he sits down on the right side of the table next to Ron. When the feast appears, Harry is on the other side of the table, next to Hermione. (00:46:05)

Continuity mistake: When Harry and Ron are sat on the train, Ron's hair begins with a centre parting, but soon changes to a side parting. (00:32:59)

Continuity mistake: When Harry and Hagrid are in Gringotts, Hagrid takes the letter from Professor Dumbleldore out of his pocket to give to the Head Goblin. The string it is tied with has a bow that runs from the top to bottom of the envelope, and the envelope is creased. When the Goblin takes it off Hagrid, it is a different envelope - the bow runs from left to right and the envelope is not creased. When viewed from where Harry and Hagrid are standing, the final shot of the envelope again shows it is creased. (00:21:50)

Continuity mistake: In the scene in the library's restricted section, Harry puts down his cloak and then his lamp. The lamp is several inches away from the cloak. When Filch enters Harry grabs the cloak and suddenly the lamp is now on top of the cloak, causing it to fall. (01:29:10)

Revealing mistake: In the British Museum after O'Connell frees Evie from being sacrificed, they both shoot at glass containers filled with alcohol and formaldehyde. Right before they explode, you can see protective masks very clearly on the guards that were standing in front of them. (00:39:51)

Visible crew/equipment: When Ardeth, Rick and Evie arrive at the first city where Imhotep took their son, Evie is walking through the hall where she had the vision of fighting with Anuk-Sun-Amun in her previous life. As she's walking past/behind a column, you can see someone's head and shoulder poking out from the back side of the column. (01:14:57)

Continuity mistake: When Rick jumps over the fire to save Evie in the museum, her arms are tied together. The instant he hits the board and the camera is at another angle, her arms are free. Then when she falls over his shoulder, they are bound again. (00:38:50)

Revealing mistake: After Rick and Evie find the bracelet the water starts coming after them. There are then shots of the water and then them running. Finally, they stop and hold each other. Shortly after that the wave comes over them. If you notice right before it hits them, it is their doubles you see. Not the actors. (00:14:55)

Revealing mistake: In the visions of Nefertiri scene where Nefertiri is fighting Anck-su-Namun back in ancient Egypt, Evie (Nefertiri) gets knocked to the floor and when she lifts her mask up you can see on her right index finger is a band aid/plaster. Did they have plasters back in ancient times? (01:07:49)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Rick and Evie break through the wall together with the water (after their son made the columns fall), you can see that Evie is lying on a skateboard on which she's being pulled forward. (It's a black one, visible when she leans over to Rick.) You can also easily see it under Rick. (00:16:10)

Continuity mistake: During the first battle, the Scorpion King is fighting with his sword in his right hand and his shield in the left. For one instant, they change arms. I assume the film must have been reversed. (00:01:46)

Continuity mistake: When Matt enters his office, his secretary is holding the invitation with 'Saturday, July 24 at 8 p.m.' on it. When Matt wakes up from his night with Elektra, however, the invitation he has reads 'Wednesday, August 13 at 7 p.m.'. (00:44:40 - 00:51:50)

Factual error: When we see the burning 'DD' in Joe Pantoliano's glasses it is not a reflection. The DD should be backwards in his glasses. (00:26:55)
