Quotes
Mrs. Weasley: Your sons drove that enchanted car of yours to Surrey and back last night.
Arthur Weasley: [to the boys] Did you really? How did it go?
[Mrs. Weasley hits him.]
Arthur Weasley: I mean, that was very wrong indeed boys. Very wrong of you.
Mistakes
Dutch DVD Only: After their crashlanding at Hogwarts, Harry and Ron are taken to Snape who tells them the Willow has been standing there "since before they were born". The Dutch translation reads "over a thousand years". It's a minor mistake on itself, but in Book 3 we learn how long the Willow has really been standing there and that's nowhere near "over a thousand years". See more...
Trivia
Though very obvious to British users of this site, it is most likely not as well known in the US. Fawkes the phoenix is most likely named for Guy Fawkes (1570-1606), a Catholic conspirator who tried to kill King James I and blow up Parliament in 1605 (the Gunpowder Plot) to avenge persecution of Roman Catholics in England. His plan failed, and he was arrested, tried, and executed. November 5th is Guy Fawkes night/bonfire night, when the failure of his plan is celebrated with fireworks and bonfires - the fires often have a "guy" on top of them, a stuffed dummy. See more...
In the dueling scene, when Snape pulls Malfoy back onto his feet, a cameraman is visible on the far left of the screen.
