Question: While Junior initially hesitates to fire Tulip as Hunter orders him to, he does not tell her he was supposed to fire her until after Jasper saves them from the wolves. Why doesn't Junior tell Tulip she's fired earlier when he is upset with her for crashing the plane?

Question: At the end of the film, when Tulip reunites with her family, the wolf pack is there along with Junior and the other birds to support Tulip. I don't get it. What made the wolves reform? What made them switch to Junior and Tulip's side?

Question: After Pigeon Toady finds Junior and Tulip with the baby girl, he returns to Conservatoire to make the report to Hunter. While Hunter strategizes in tracking down Junior and Tulip, Toady points out that they don't know where they going. That reduces Hunter in planning to change the address of the baby's homing beacon. Why doesn't Toady use his phone to call Hunter once he finds Junior and Tulip, and why doesn't he continue to follow them?
Chosen answer: Toady is intent on impressing Hunter by reporting Junior and Tulip to him. He was likely so eager to report Junior and Tulip to Hunter that he forgot all about where Junior and Tulip were going off too, but instead to let Hunter know about what was happening and likely be given some recognition from him.

Question: After Hunter falls off Stork Mountain and Junior and Tulip survive the fall, Jasper shows up with blankets which he suggests the storks use to deliver the newly produced babies. If Jasper was at the factory by the time Hunter caused Junior and Tulip to fall, why doesn't he fly down to save them?
Chosen answer: There were hundreds of other storks who were there who chose to not fly down, Jasper was not the only stork who didn't fly down to help Junior and Tulip. The other storks were standing there looking over the edge, to see if anyone from the collapsing building would come back. Since the storks can fly, they all likely, including Jasper, assumed Junior could just fly back to the other section of the building, or perhaps were unsure if Junior and Tulip would still be alive, so did not want to risk themselves getting killed.

Question: When Nate writes a letter to the Stork company, he writes that he wants a baby brother, not a sister. If the baby-manufacturing machine can read Nate's letter, why does it produce a baby girl instead of a boy? Also, how come the baby girl has pink hair while her mother has platinum blonde hair and her father and brother have brown hair?
Chosen answer: The baby-manufacturing machine had been shut down for some time when Tulip wrongly inserted the letter requesting a baby boy. The machine, which presumably would not be working efficiently after such a long hiatus, accidentally produced a baby girl. That may be why the hair color did not match either parent. Also, this is an animated film that has little to do with the reality of biology. The baby is a girl, so pink hair would be an obvious choice. If it was a boy, it would probably be blue.
Answer: It could honestly be that he "needed" a little sister more than a little brother. Having a sister can be a completely different experience than having a brother, and the machine might have gone against his wishes because it would have been a better fit for their family. Additionally, it could also just be that there's a chance that the machine has the odds of having a boy or a girl at random, and that when a parent requests it, there's always a chance that it will not follow it to a tee.

Other mistake: During the climax, when Junior reactivates the baby manufacturing machine, the first baby to emerge from the machine is naked. The machine's hands diaper this baby. However, when the other babies emerge from the machine they're already wearing diapers. (01:15:45 - 01:16:25)

Continuity mistake: When Jasper takes Tulip to meet her family, Tulip gives Jasper her iPhone so he can take a video of her. After Tulip hesitates to ring the doorbell and walks away, Jasper still has her iPhone since she never took it back from him. However, after Tulip finds Junior in Hunter's trap, she uses her iPhone to order and return a package. (01:05:05 - 01:10:10)

Question: After shutting down their business in delivering babies, why didn't the storks destroy the baby-manufacturing factory?
Chosen answer: It could have been for a number of reasons. It would be expensive and time consuming to completely dismantle and remove a large piece of machinery. It may have been something that was being delayed until a later time or was to be sold. Perhaps the machinery, after retooling, would be reused for another purpose, and so on.
Answer: At around the end of the movie, you could see that when Hunter goes down with the package factory, you could see that the factory was connected to the Baby Factory off the side of the mountain. They probably didn't have the time to demolish that one and then rebuild the packages.

Question: Despite both his parents having blue eyes, how come Nate has brown eyes? Is there a scientific/logical explanation for this?
Answer: That's one possibility. Or, the boy could have been adopted by the parents. That would fit with much of the theme of the film and one of the actors is a father through adoption. As adoptive parents with blue/green eyes and a child with brown eyes, we chose to believe it was a subtle nod to that situation. Also, the parents seem pretty convinced a baby brother isn't coming. Perhaps there were fertility issues that contribute to that confidence and led to creating a family through adoption. I think that's a better story than a remote scientific possibility. :).
Chosen answer: Yes there is a biological explanation for two blue-eyed parents having a brown-eyed child, and it does happen. It's a bit more complicated than high school genetics' dominant/recessive gene explanation. Eye color is determined by 2 genes, HERC2 and OCA2. Both genes are required for pigment to form (i.e. brown eyes), HERC2 being the key. People with blue-eyes can be carriers of one or the other, thus the offspring of 2 blue-eyed parents can end up receiving both required genes for brown eyes.

Question: Hunter, as a stork, and Toady, as a pigeon, are both birds of flight. So why don't they use their wings to fly? Why would they need to use a helicopter (Hunter) and flying machine (Toady)?
Chosen answer: For the same reason people take cars even though they can walk. It's faster and doesn't require using up your energy.
