PTV - S4-E14

Continuity mistake: When the Griffins are driving to Washington we see a faraway shot of the car driving from left to right. Peter and Lois are in the front and Chris is leaning back on the back seat. In the next shot, Chris is leaning forward against the back of Peter and Lois's seats. (00:19:30)

Continuity mistake: When Chris is saying "I'm not supposed to tell Mom cos she'll just bitch about it" there is a door behind Lois with a box next to it. In the next shot there is a smaller box next to that box which was not there before. (00:09:00)

Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington - S3-E3

Question: In the episode there is a scene where Peter is dressed up as a girl wandering around a big city with music that goes "that guy, it's that guy". Is this a spoof of something? If so, what is it a spoof of, and where could I find the original video clip that the episode spoofs.

Chosen answer: It's the opening of Marlo Thomas's 1966-1971 series "That Girl". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRaMIKRZ19M.

Fat Guy Strangler - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: Just after Patrick 'kisses' his imaginary girlfriend goodbye and tells Brian to look after her, Brian switches position on the couch. In the first shot he is sitting on a crack between couch pillows, but in the next shot he is sitting in the middle of the centre pillow. (00:13:50)

Show generally

Question: Is it just me, or does the way Stewie says "Laugh and cry" in the opening titles change in different episodes? In some episodes it sounds like he's saying something like "Leff en cry" but in other episodes it sounds like "Laugh and cry".

Blibbetyblip

Chosen answer: In the first two seasons, the words "... Laugh and cry" sound to many like "effing cry" (or, "f-ing cry"). Aware of this confusion, Seth McFarlane re-recorded the line for the third season, enunciating more and emphasising the hard "L" sound in the word. From the fourth season, when the show was revived, it reverted to the original way.

Trivia: The three skyscrapers that can often be seen on the horizon behind the Griffin's house are the actual buildings One Financial Center, 50 Kennedy Plaza and the Bank of America Tower in Providence, Rhode Island.

DaBoom - S2-E3

Continuity mistake: When Peter drinks the water after having all the dehydrated meals, he expands. Then in the next 'shot' he is much bigger, even though there is no time for him to have expanded further. (00:09:05)
