Corrected entry: In the shot where you see Pawtucket Pat and the group, look at the beer room from the door, Charlie and his grandpa are present (representing the characters from the 1971 Wonka film).
Correction: Not really trivia. It's incredibly obvious to anyone who's seen the movie that this is Charlie and Grampa Joe- in fact there are several close-ups of them during the episode.
