The Simpsons Game mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Invasion of the Yokel Snatchers: When Homer and Bart are watching the mall being invaded, there is a fountain visible in the far background, next to the the mall. An alien is peeing in the same fountain beside the mall and mall security arrives. When the shot cuts back to Homer and Bart, we can see they are suddenly much closer to the water fountain.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the Simpsons run outside to see the mothership, Bart has the strategy guide that Professor Frink gave him in his hands. In a closer shot, it has vanished. When the shot cuts again, he is now shown holding the manual with the yellow cover he got in Bartman Begins and not the blue cover strategy guide that he should currently have at that point in the game.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the mothership turns away from the Simpson house, the Simpsons are watching Springfield being destroyed by the aliens. Bart is holding the strategy guide with the spine being faced above the rest of the guide. The shot cuts to an angle from in front of the family, and the spine of the strategy guide is facing below the rest of the guide.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the Simpsons arrive in the game engine, they are standing away from the edge and not on the yellow/black markings on the platform. A few seconds later, Homer walks off the edge of the platform, and suddenly, they are on the edge of the platform and on the markings.

Other mistake: Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game: At the start of this level, Mr. Dirt (i.e. Milhouse) emerges from the ocean, but Mr. Dirt is approximately 30 feet tall and the water is far too shallow for him to have been hiding his entire body inside the water. The water only goes up to his knee area whilst he is standing in the ocean.

Other mistake: Game Over: When the game engine is being destroyed, Private Burns and the skeleton of Otto are exiting the wrong game. Private Burns was a character featured in Medal of Homer, but he is exiting the NeverQuest game and the skeleton of Otto was one of the side villains to destroy in the NeverQuest game, but is exiting the Medal of Homer game.

Continuity mistake: Game Over: Whilst escaping the game engine, Bart points to the portal to Springfield. On the left hand side of the screen is a sign saying "Hot Off QA" on the light fixture for the Medal of Homer game. In the next shot, the A in the sign is suddenly tilted. The light fixture also receives further damage.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When the Simpsons are watching TV, Homer is asleep and his right arm is on the arm rest beside him. The shot cuts to a closer shot of Homer and suddenly part of his arm is now partially on the cabinet beside the couch.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: After Homer runs with the three bunnies, he stops and it rains chocolate balls into his hands. As they land in his hand, there are not that many raining, but in the next shot, there is suddenly a large amount, way more than what was shown landing in his hands.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When Homer looks into the window of the Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe and looks at the half price chocolate, he walks over to the window and stands in the centre of it, but in the next shot, he is suddenly standing at the corner of the window as the window frame is visible beside him.

Continuity mistake: Bartman Begins: After Bart has bought the Grand Theft Scratchy game, he is walking away from the store and Marge finds him. In a close-up shot of Marge gasping, the pearl necklace on Marge's neck is deep orange. In the next shot, as she takes the game off him, the pearl necklace is suddenly a much lighter orange.

Revealing mistake: Bartman Begins: When Bart goes into the store for a copy of Grand Theft Scratchy, there are four copies of the game shown on the counter beside the Squeaky Voiced Teen, but the front cover for the game on the bottom left is drawn out differently than the other three. It appears more stretched out and part of the cover has been cut off.

Continuity mistake: Bartman Begins: When Bart is reading the manual, there is a 360 degree panning shot of him reading. When the shot is on the road behind him, there is a museum in the background and a sign saying "Springfield Museum of Natural History." A few seconds later, when Homer arrives, the sign in front of the museum is still there, but the name has vanished from the sign. When Homer and Bart climb into the sewer, the name has suddenly reappeared on the sign.

Continuity mistake: Bartman Begins: When Homer sees Bart in the Bartman costume, asking him what's with the broody getup, the shotgun he is holding is sideways away from his face. The shot cuts to a closer shot of Homer, and the shotgun is still away from his face, but in the next shot, the shotgun is suddenly upright.

Continuity mistake: Bartman Begins: After Principal Skinner reveals his plans to Bart, Homer tells him "I've never heard of such an evil plan. You're like if the iron sheik had baby with Rowdy Roddy Piper times a billion." Whilst Homer is saying the line, he has Kearney and Dolph in a headlock and Kearney and Dolph are looking at each other, but in the next shot, Kearney and Dolph are suddenly looking at Principal Skinner.

Plot hole: Bartman Begins: When Jimbo reveals to Bart that Skinner hired them to rob the museum, Bart says "Principal Skinner?" and looks to his right and sees Principal Skinner standing there. The problem in this scenario is that there is nothing there to make Bart look towards the right. Skinner was never heard approaching nor did he ever state he was there before Bart looked and no-one else in the scene even told Bart that Skinner was approaching.

Continuity mistake: Lisa the Tree Hugger: When Mr. Burns is talking to Smithers about his tree cutting plan, there is an overview shot where his right arm is near the edge of the mat on the table. The shot cuts to a closer shot of Burns and his arms are now near the middle of the mat.

Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Martin runs out of the video game store, there is a line of people queueing outside. A couple of seconds later, as Marge and Lisa watch Martin throw Ned out of his car, the video game store is visible in the background, and the queue has vanished.

Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Martin Prince carjacks Ned, the shot of Ned being thrown out of the car shows the car having a shadow. The shot changes to an overview angle of Martin driving away, and the car's shadow has vanished.
