Correction: You can clearly see a gap between monitor and main computer unit, indicating that they are separate units. Also the colors are different, further indicating they were made separately.

XIII

Right, but then why would Sheldon take the monitor with him, when it's isn't attached, is nothing to do with Woz, and is very impractical?

Moose

Correction: Semantics. To most people, "DS" is sufficient enough to specify all of the Nintendo DS consoles. The same way that "Xbox" is sufficient enough to specify the Xbox 360.

THGhost

Most people yes, but Sheldon not being pedantic?

Moose

He could have corrected him later. We don't get to see everything they supposedly say to each other.

lionhead

Precisely. Plus it wasn't Sheldon that simply called it a "Nintendo DS." Leonard did. He's not as pedantic as Sheldon.

The Agreement Dissection - S4-E21

Corrected entry: For an obsessive genius Sheldon makes a stupid mistake when he blackmails Leonard into signing a new roommate agreement - any contract signed under duress is invalid. He gains nothing from Leonard signing the new agreement as no other action on his part is required. Effectively Sheldon has got his autograph. Big deal. Leonard is free to ignore the new agreement if he feels like it - and his lawyer was there to witness the fact that he was forced against his will to sign in the first place. This also begs the question of why Priya gets in such a panic about Sheldon blackmailing Leonard by threatening to reveal details of their relationship to her parents - why didn't she just advise Leonard to sign on the dotted line, explaining later that he signed an invalid contract? It would certainly have saved her a lot of grief.

Correction: Priya might have brought the idea of the letter of the law in, but Sheldon has never actually sued anyone for violating the roommate agreement. Leonard abides by it because otherwise Sheldon will become unliveable with. Priya won't give Leonard any more advice because of the risk that Sheldon will tell Priya's parents about Leonard's relationship.

The Killer Robot Instability - S2-E12

Corrected entry: Kripke states that there is no guarantee that he will face Leonard, Sheldon, and Raj in the round-robin. In a round-robin, all competitors face each other in turn. It is out of character for Kripke not to be aware of this, and especially for Sheldon to not correct someone making this basic mistake.

Jay32183

Correction: Although the tournament is scheduled as a round robin, it's apparent that a losing robot may be actually destroyed and unable to compete further. MONTE would be unable to face Kripke's robot if it was destroyed in a previous match, regardless of whether it was scheduled to meet them or not.

Mr. Bean (1989)

Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10

Corrected entry: When Bean starts making up his own tunes whilst being in temporary control of the band, it is quite obvious in some shots that the band members are not following his instructions and are actually playing the tunes from the music sheets fixed to their instruments.

Correction: It is quite correct for the musicians to be playing the music from the score in front of them while reading the beat from the conductor. There is no way for a conductor to convey a melody to the band.

Moose

Corrected entry: When Station, is making the robot Bill and Ted, in the back of the van you see him using a welders mask while doing work to the robots. However there is a close-up scene of his eyes while he is doing welding without the mask which would make no sense to even use the mask before if he didn't plan on using it each time. The smartest being(s) in the world should know that not doing so can eventually make you go blind.

Rollin Garcia Jr

Correction: Station isn't human - maybe he tried the mask initially, realised welding wasn't dangerous to his alien eyes, and took it off.

Fawlty Towers (1975)

Waldorf Salad - S2-E3

Corrected entry: After the Hamiltons have ordered their drinks (screwdrivera), Basil asks 'Nothing to drink?' Mr Hamilton then says 'What?', and then if you listen carefully Basil replies 'Well, you can't drink a screwdrivers (sic) can you?'

Correction: He says "You can't drink your screwdrivers", reflecting the fact that both Mr and Mrs Hamilton asked for one.

Moose

Corrected entry: In the scene where Slartibartfast is following Arthur and the crew out of the rebuilt house on the rebuilt Earth, a large white van drives past very conspicuously in the background. Now, it is only at the end of this scene that Arthur gives the go-ahead to restart life on the planet. And it does NOT belong to the fix-up crew - they are probably delivered the same way that Arthur and Slartibartfast are delivered - by the trolley thingy. And anyway, if it was theirs, it would be bright orange like the rest of their gear.

Correction: The van that takes the depressed Vogons away at the end is white, and clearly belongs to the cleanup team, so you can't assume everything they use is bright orange.

The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: When Mr. Incredible is trying to find Syndrome's computer mainframe, he runs through the lava walls and starts sweating profusely. However, Mirage walked through the same walls earlier without sweating at all.

Correction: He's not sweating because the walls are hot, he's sweating because he's running hard to prevent the walls closing in on him. Mirage didn't have to run.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Rimmerworld - S6-E5

Corrected entry: When Rimmer is narrating, he says he discovered a way to make a fully grown female based on his own DNA. Rimmer is a hardlight hologram and as such is made of light, he possesses no DNA to base the female (or male) clones on.

Correction: Holograms are created based on a DNA sample and brain-scan of the crewmember. Although his holographic body doesn't have DNA in the ordinary sense, his lightbee contains all of his DNA data - that's how it knows what to project.

The Office (2001)

Charity - S2-E5

Corrected entry: As Lee is walking in to give Dawn her sandwich you can see somebody running towards the camera down the corridor behind them but this person isn't a character and doesn't appear in shot after this scene. (00:21:15)

omegaman3000

Correction: Remember that the idea of The Office is that, as far as the characters are concerned, it's a reality show about their office life. Given this, it wouldn't be unusual for someone to be walking around in the corridor who wasn't a regular in the office itself.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: Shrek, Gingerbread Man, Donkey, and Puss go to the Muffin Man on Drury Lane to create the huge Gingerbread Man and make him that same evening. Shouldn't the Muffin Man on Drury Lane be all the way back in the Kingdom of DuLoc?

Correction: The Muffin Man was mentioned in Shrek 1, but didn't actually appear. The location of Drury Lane was never stated. Since many of Far Far Away's residents are famous (such as Cinderella), it's perfect possible that the Muffin Man is famous too and the Gingerbread Man and others in DuLoc would have heard of him, and the name of his street, even though he didn't live in DuLoc.

Babe (1995)

Corrected entry: Babe should never have got full marks at the sheepdog competition because he took far too long.

Correction: It's not clear that he took that long - there are lots of cuts for things going on at the same time. If you look at just the ones that involve Babe, Fly gives him the password as soon as he walks out with Hoggett, and Babe gives it to the sheep immediately after that. The judge remarks that Hoggett is standing stationary, but that doesn't mean he stood for a long time: the judge would probably have expected him to move off immediately given that it was a timed contest.

Moose

Correction: Babe doesn't necessarily need to win by virtue of time, he just has to perform exceptionally well when he gets going, which he does, to prove the feasibility of the idea. Also, the other half of his performance is nearly flawless and therefore he Might win by that anyway.

Toy Story 2 (1999)

Corrected entry: When Woody tries to retrieve his arm from Al, the TV 'magically' turns on, Al wakes up and jumps out of his couch, but wouldn't we hear some crunching because he just jumped on a lot of cheese puffs?

Correction: The cheese puffs breaking are really a very quiet sound; they only sound loud when there's no other sound around, such as when Woody is sneaking. Whe Al wakes up, there's Al clumping around plus the noise of the video that woke him, and it's unlikely that some cheese puffs breaking would be heard over that.

Moose

Corrected entry: When Stan gets thrown around from the blast of the bomb, he lands with his face in a puddle. When he lifts his head and sees the clitoris, the puddle dissappears, but it reappears after the clitoris tells him what to do.

Padzter

Correction: Stan is imagining the scene with the clitoris, so it need not be in sync with what's 'really' happening to Stan at the time.
