In this shot, Spider-Man is on one knee with the other one resting on the wall, yet in the following shot he is standing up and leaning back to pull Aunt May up. (00:48:25)

Continuity mistake: Just after the soldier hits the young Magneto with his gun, the guy on the left is holding him and he turns away looking at the ground (probably so he knows where to fall). Yet in the following shot, the boy is looking up on top of the guy who is facing up. (00:03:35)

Continuity mistake: At the start when Rogue walks into the bar, when she walks towards the cage, note all the things around her from the camera's perspective (which is from behind her): the wooden plank in front of her which she walks around, and the burning can to the left of the screen. When the camera cuts to the front, the wooden plank is not there and neither is the burning can (now to the right of the screen). (00:09:35)

Continuity mistake: Close to the middle of the film when Peter is in the big room where MJ announces her engagement, when Peter is finished talking with Harry at the bar he gets pulled away by Jameson, Harry then turns around and drinks, yet when it cuts to a shot of Peter and Jameson walking away, look in the background and Harry is still looking at Peter walking away. Continuity mistake: When Chris and the others are talking outside the house in the woods, Scott starts talking about West Virginia or something, and in one shot he raises his right hand to his head, and in the following shot he has his left hand to his head. (00:23:50)

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when we see Peter looking out of his window from his apartment, the girl from across the hall offers chocolate cake. When they are done eating, Peter is holding the fork with his thumb and in the following shot he is not. The fork has moved across the plate a little between shots. (01:17:30)

Continuity mistake: Just after the bank robbery, Doc Ock and Spider-Man are fighting on the side of the building. When some rocks fall down, there is a man (that looks like Stan Lee) pulling a girl away from falling debris. There is a red car to the right of the screen and a yellow taxi to the left, yet in the following shot from a different angle, there are a few more people in front of the red car, and no dust on the ground where the rocks hit the floor. Continuity mistake: Just after Sabertooth has dropped the Senator into the water, the mutated Senator pops out of the water. In the first shot, he is facing the boy, but in the next shot he has his back to the boy, then facing the boy again. Also, when he pops out the water he is only a few feet away from the boy's yellow boat, yet in another shot he is much farther from the boat. (00:41:30)

Continuity mistake: Close to the middle when Senator Kelly hangs over the edge of the cliff face, Magneto pulls away the metal bars and crosses his hands/fingers twice. (00:40:30)

Continuity mistake: On his last pizza delivery before he gets fired, when it first cuts to the receptionist and the room that she is in, the clock is very high up in this shot, above the receptionist's head, then in the following shot when the receptionist is looking in Peter's direction, the clock is much lower. Continuity mistake: When Lex is on her way to meet Weyland, Miller asks her to take a picture. When she first takes the camera, she puts her fingers on top, ready to take the picture, then she does it again. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the film when we see Peter waking up and reaching for his glasses, in the previous shot he didn't have the blanket on him or over his shoulders, it's in the background on the floor, yet when he reaches for his glasses the blanket is on his shoulders.
