Continuity mistake: When Tom and Julia are in Julia's office, Tom sits down while Julia is on the phone and begins to read the small card from the flowers. In one shot Tom's three/four fingers are on the back of the card, then in the following shot he is holding the card at the edge with just his fingertips on the card. (00:26:55)

Continuity mistake: When Rogue is seen for the first time, her hand is moving up photographs on the wall, and if you look closely there are some kind of red poppies when she reaches the end, yet when it cuts to another shot a bit further away, her finger is a lot further down the wall from the red poppy/flower. Continuity mistake: When Howard Payne calls Jack in the bus and is saying he wants his money, etc, at the start of the next scene the bus can be seen with not only its front doors open, but the back doors are also open with a guy standing on the step in the doorway, even though the back doors haven't been opened yet. This shot is actually cut from the following scene, when Jack gets off the bus, the young guy from the bus stands in the doorway looking out at Jack leaving. (01:07:55)

Continuity mistake: When the Major and General are on top of the train just before they jump from one train to the other, the Major and General walk across the top and they pass one, maybe both, of the hijackers. When it cuts to another view, the hijackers are passing the Major and General again. (00:11:30)

Continuity mistake: When the hijackers are setting the nuclear bomb, they drill a device to the face of the bomb, and on the right of the screen there are wires sticking out of the little silver box. In the following shot one of the hijackers opens the little silver box and pulls the wires out again. (00:12:10)

Continuity mistake: When Frank is pulling down the gravestone with a chain, in the shot from the front, William's is to the left about a foot away and Maria's is to the right, the same distance. In the shot from behind the stone, there is another stone you can just about see on the right of the screen and it can't be William's because this stone, or something, is directly behind Frank's. Continuity mistake: During the Vienna chase, the guys in the black cars are behind a red van, and the red van passes the side street where Tom pulled into, yet from Tom's POV it's passing again. (00:47:50)

Continuity mistake: Just before the two trains crash, there are 4 poles along the track and not far apart, then when the camera cuts to a wider shot, there are fewer poles and at a much greater distance from one another. (00:14:20)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Frank Castle is standing over Howard, Frank grabs Saint's right leg (you can tell its his right leg by looking at the shoe), but in the following shot he is holding Saint by the left leg. (01:45:35)

Continuity mistake: When Frank crashes his car and Harry Heck pulls up in his, note the distance from Heck's car to Frank's car, perhaps only a foot, yet when it cuts to an overhead shot, Heck's car is now quite some distance away from Frank's without anyone moving it. (01:03:50 - 01:04:25)

Continuity mistake: When Frank walks up to Saint's son, Frank waives a white flag, but between shots his position changes from being really close to Bobby, to being at least a foot away and his body side on. (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: When Saints's men are killing Castle's family, there is a shot of Frank and his dad shooting at one of the guys behind the barbecue stand. In one shot Frank and his dad shoot the salad bowl and most of the salad comes out, then in the following shot the salad has magically reappeared. (00:22:30)

Continuity mistake: When the cops turn up at the firearms deal, someone says, "Your under arrest," and there are two to three cops. When Frank says his line, the camera cuts to an overhead shot and there are now 6 cops all grouped together standing only a few feet from Bobby, Frank and the others. (00:04:00)

Continuity mistake: When Annie swerves to avoid the schoolteacher and the kids, in the previous shot of the kids and the schoolteacher, they have already stepped out onto the road and are crossing, yet when the camera cuts to a view looking out the bus the schoolteacher and the kids are just stepping off the curb and walking across. Continuity mistake: When Annie is running for the bus, she passes notice boards as such, yet when it cuts to a side shot of Annie at the door to the bus, the massive notice boards have suddenly disappeared and all it is now is bushes and gardens. (00:29:45)

Continuity mistake: When Howard Payne gets off the elevator with Harry held hostage, Jack walks off the elevator and there is a light on the wall that Jack passes twice and/or turns the small corner twice. (00:21:10)

Continuity mistake: When Howard Payne is in the elevator, he hears Jack and Harry doing something from above, and he reaches for his bomb trigger. In slow motion when he's picking it up, it has two buttons on it, yet when Howard pushes one of the buttons, the device now has three. (00:13:00)

Continuity mistake: When Jack and Harry are on the top of the building at the start, Jack climbs up a ladder and proceeds to walk along to the crane. In one shot he moves the big gun round to his back, and in the following shot the big gun is still in front of him. (00:11:55)

Continuity mistake: When Peter, Skip and the others walk out of the hut where the Pakistanis kept the nitro, Skip walks out and sits down, and he is looking at Peter when Peter walks away. In the following shot he is looking straight ahead of him, not in Peter's direction. (00:46:10)

Continuity mistake: Near the end, Roark and Amy are standing over the grid in the street, and when Roark says something like, "I'm not letting you go down there it's too dangerous," Amy is looking down at the grid in the road, but in the following shot she is looking directly at Roark. (01:14:40)
