Stir of Echoes (1999)

Corrected entry: In the scene were Maggie goes to see Neal, the door she knocks on is a beige door with no marks. When Neal comes out and shuts the door, it is covered with graffiti.

Correction: There are two doors - an outer door covered in graffiti and an inner beige door.

High Tension (2003)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, two vehicles are being driven into the woods. One is the beat-up van containing the woman who has been tied up. The other, a yellow coupe, is being driven by the young lady who, according to the plot twist revealed near the end, has actually been responsible for the murders in the movie. If the real murderer was driving the yellow coupe and the only real occupant of the beat-up van was the tied-up woman, then who was driving the van? The movie shows the van being driven by a sadistic middle-aged male murderer who turned out to be a figment of the real murderer's imagination, but at the end, we see the real female killer and the van, so the van must have been driven by somebody.

Correction: Alex, the real killer has a split personality. She was more than likely imagining the whole idea of being in the yellow car. She was in the van the whole time, but with her split personality also imagined chasing herself (as the heroine) being in a yellow car. It was all a figment to her, but shown to us from her perespective.

Wild Hogs (2007)

Corrected entry: While the four main characters are at the Chili Festival, there is a banner over the street reading 'Chile Festival'. This can be seen several times in the background.

Correction: According to Wikipedia, the name is spelled differently in many regions; chili, chile or chilli. So chile is acceptable.

Corrected entry: Unless a lot of people died offscreen, there's no way the Professor killed everyone who worked on Travis' film. Look at the amount of people working on Amy and Toby's films - there would have been more than 8 people who would have recognised the film when the Professor sold it.

Shay

Correction: The Professor may not have finished killing everyone yet, or as you've stated, the more minor cast members may have been slaughtered off-screen.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Amy and Vanessa are lured into the tower, a mannequin is dropped from above to scare them into running up the stairs. The killer then emerges from a downstairs room to chase them, so who dropped the mannequin?

Correction: He could have had it hanging from a rope and had it dropped or he could have rigged it drop at a cetain time.

Hamster

Correction: In the first shot the mobile lands on its side. In the next shot it's flat on the floor. It could have easily fallen over due to everyone running around.

Hamster

Corrected entry: In another scene involving Amy and Vanessa, the killer comes out. Instead of going out the door they run up miles of stairs to get to the top with no exit.

Correction: This is obviously the only way for them to go - they can't get past the killer to get out of the door. They are also running in fear and panic and may not be thinking correctly.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Amy's being chased by the killer, she falls into the water. Now, when she gets "under" the killer, she is wet. Considering the fact that it is cold water, and there is a murderer after her. She is not shivering at all. Not from cold nor fear.

Correction: It's not a mistake to not shiver.

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie, the sheriff picks up R. Lee Ermey's character to arrest Leatherface, he mentions to being the last of the police force in the town. After R. Lee Ermey's character kills the sheriff and takes over the identity, he mentions that he had just killed the entire police force. However at the end of the movie, Leatherface smashes the car he is in into a police officer, killing him. This takes place just a few miles from the farmhouse. Where did this police officer come from if the guy at the beginning of the movie was the last on the police force?

SAZOO1975

Correction: Whoever had phoned for the police could have gotten through an emergency service in a different area. Just because the police were in this certain town, it doesn't mean they were part of the actual towns department. Police from the next town could have easily been called in, especially for such a large car crash as seen at the end of the film.

Hamster

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie, Leatherface kills a man in the slaughter house. The police officer then shows up at the house saying Leatherface had killed a man. Near the end of the movie, they return to the slaughter house and the dead man is undisturbed where he had been killed.

Correction: The police officer never said anything about moving the body - because this officer was the only unit of police force in the town, as everybody has moved away, and also he never got a chance to call for anybody out of the area.

What Lies Beneath (2000)

Corrected entry: When Michelle Pfeiffer looks up the missing women on the database, the picture comes up on the right hand side of the screen with the description on the left side. When she and Harrison Ford look at the print, the picture has moved to the left side.

Correction: The page may have had a "format for printing" option. You can often get this option when printing pages containing pictures.

Matilda (1996)

Corrected entry: When Zinnia signs the adoption papers she signs it three times. But, when Harry signs, he only signs them twice.

Correction: More of a character mistake on Harry's behalf.

Hamster

Corrected entry: In the scene when Lester is arrested, he calls his home without depositing money into the pay telephone.

Correction: It's not a payhpone, it's a prison phone, where you are allowed to make one call.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Pam, Tommy, and Reggie are going to see Demon, they pass the same rocks several times. (00:46:20)

Correction: These same group of rocks can be seen running all the way down the roads, so it's no mistake that it seems as though they pass the same ones more than once, but they don't - they just pass similar looking ones repeatedly.

Hamster

Corrected entry: During the end the clock slides down the stairway. At the end of the stairway is a big post, but he slides right off, never hitting the post. (01:15:55)

Correction: If you go frame by frame you can see that the banister curves around the post, and so he slides past it and doesn't have the danger of sliding into it.

The Producers (1967)

Corrected entry: When Bialystock, Bloom, and Liebkind light the fuse under the theatre, it explodes much sooner than it should have, considering the distance they were from the dynamite and the rate the fuse burned at onscreen.

Phoenix

Correction: They're obviously not two consecutive shots - we wouldn't want to watch the few minutes pass, as the fuse burns.

Xanadu (1980)

Corrected entry: Towards the end after the Xanadu number, the mirrored curtain lifts and an overhead shot shows the eight sisters at the center, then dancing down the pink points of the star illuminated on the stage floor. The dancer at the 6 o'clock position starts down the wrong color point and then corrects herself before she reaches the edge of the stage.

Correction: The characters bad dancing is not a movie mistake. Although it is worth a laugh at.

Xanadu (1980)

Corrected entry: In Simpson's office at the record studio, Simpson tells Sonny to "pick up the van and hustle your butt over to the Platinum Palace." The next scene shows Sonny driving up to the Platinum Palace in a pickup truck, not a van.

Correction: Character error, not a movie one.

Sleepaway Camp (1983)

Corrected entry: Right when Angela's true self is revealed, he/she is shown holding a knife. Then it cuts to the counselors who discover her. When it cuts back to Angela, he/she is now holding a hatchet.

Correction: There is a shadow on the sand, which makes it seem as though there is a hammer / hatchet head on the end of the knife. But if you look close you can see that the smooth curve of the knife is still there, so it never changes.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Max's Father is being blown away, Lavagirl grabs his clip-on tie, yes the tie unclips but it should have burst into flames like the sushi and the diary.

Correction: Lavagirl can control what she wants to burn.
