Scary Movie 2 (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the butler helps Cindy take her stuff up to her room, he has a spoon in his mouth. When they are upstairs, the spoon is gone.

Correction: Firstly, it is Cindy's toothbrush in his mouth. Secondly, the two shots have a long time gap in between - the shot cuts from them being downstairs in front of the kitchen, to then opening the door to upstairs, giving a time gap long enough for him to take the toothbrush out of his mouth.

Aladdin (1992)

Correction: I checked this whole scene a couple of times, and I never saw this. If it REALLY does happen, be more specific, ie. the certain shot with dialouge to match.

101 Dalmatians (1961)

Corrected entry: Roger walks down the stairs imitating Cruella. He has a long cigarette holder & cigarette in his hand. But two seconds later, they are gone.

Correction: There are two long shots in between the shots of Roger, giving him enough time to put the cigarette holder/cigarette down.

101 Dalmatians (1961)

Corrected entry: The first time Cruella shows up at Roger's house she has a cigarette in her left hand. In the next shot it's in her right hand.

Correction: She visibly swaps what hand it is in as she walks through the archway.

Final Destination (2000)

Corrected entry: When Tod is getting strangled by the wire there is a quick shot of Tod's dad downstairs asleep, and when it changes back to Tod being strangled, in the first shot, you can see that the wire has gone. (00:34:45)

Correction: I watched this scene and in the first shot of Tod after they cut to a shot of his dad, the wire is perfectly visible at the side of his neck, however is hidden by his chin and therefore we can't see it around the front of his neck.

Splash (1984)

Corrected entry: When Allen leaves the wedding reception on his way to Cape Cod, he gets into a taxi. He doesn't have his tuxedo jacket on, nor is he carrying it. In the next scene when he walking on the beach in Cape Cod, he is wearing the jacket.

Correction: When Allen boards the taxi, look at the bottom of the screen and you can see his tuxedo tied around his waist. Therefore it would be there with him, for him to untie from his waist, and put on.

The Rescuers (1977)

Corrected entry: When Medusa is talking to Penny about being a good girl and going to get the diamond, she is taking off her make-up. She has one side of lipstick off, the right side. Then you see Penny. Then the shot goes back to Medusa and her lipstick on the left side is off, and it is on on the right side.

Correction: The first closeup shot is a shot facing the mirror. When we first see Medusa, it's into the mirror. Then the second time we see her, it's a wideshot, out of the mirror. Watch the towel wrapped around Medusa's head (like a turban). The end of the towel hangs out of the turban-like towel. In the closeup (mirror shot), the end of the towel hangs from the left. When we see her again, the end of the towel hangs out of the right side of the towel. The lipstick never swaps sides - one is a mirror view, the other isn't.

Mean Girls (2004)

Corrected entry: When Cady, Janis and Damien are trying to get Aaron to catch Regina cheating, Damien steals Cady's purse to get Aaron to follow him. Cady is wearing jeans in this scene, but according to two lines by Gretchen earlier in the film, she shouldn't be. "We only wear jeans or track pants on Fridays" and "Every Thursday, Aaron thinks she's doing SAT prep, but really, she's cheating on him in the projection room above the auditorium." So if it was Thursday, why was Cady wearing jeans?

Correction: It was stated by Gretchen that if anybody wore jeans/track pants on any other day then Friday, they couldn't sit with them at lunch. We never see Cady sitting with the others at the canteen, or even hanging with them. She could have forgot about the rule and not sat with them and maybe even not been able to hang out with them that day.

Jumanji (1995)

Corrected entry: When the Yellow Pod's "root" raps around Peter's Leg, nobody tries to get it off. But, still, in the next scene, the "root" is miraculously gone.

Correction: Not a mistake. The yellow pod vine wraps around Peter's right leg. Alan then uses a sword to chop the vine in half, leaving the remainder of the vine still wrapped around Peter's leg. The root around his leg is partly visible throughout that scene, until it cuts to the scene of Carl finding his car after it had been stolen by the monkeys. It then cuts back, and we see Alan tying the lounge doors up with a vine. So during the time space there was during the "Carl" scene, Peter, or someone else could easily have unwrapped the vine from his leg.

U Turn (1997)

Corrected entry: While Grace is talking to Bobby on the phone she is holding a pack of cards. In some shots the 2 of clubs is on the bottom, in others the queen of spades. (01:18:30)

jle

Correction: When we see Grace with the 2 of clubs, there is then a very long shot of Bobby on the other end of the phone. Cut back to Grace, yes the card has changed, but she easily could have shuffled the cards.

The Simpsons (1989)

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the opening of the show, when Marge pulls into the driveway, you can see that there is no badge on the hood of the car, but when it shows a close up of The Front of the car when Homer is running away, there is a grey badge with a star on it.

Correction: I've viewed the opening in seasons 1,2,3,4 and 5 etc., and in every opening you can make out a small grey badge on the hood as Marge pulls into the drive in the wideshot. It's then very noticeable when it cuts to the closeup of The Front of the car.

Stand By Me (1986)

Corrected entry: When Gordie faints after finding a leech in his pants, the boys hop over to him with their pants around their ankles, Teddy has his glasses on, which then disappear.

Correction: When the boys hop over to Gordie, Teddy doesn't have glasses on. He never does at any point in the leech scene.

U Turn (1997)

Corrected entry: When Bobby Cooper comes back to Grace McKenna's house near the start, he puts his bag on the side. They're eventually disturbed by Jake McKenna, Cooper gets punched in the face and legs it, leaving his bag in the house. We then see him walking along the road back to town with his bag, which he's magically got back.

Jon Sandys

Correction: This may have been corrected on DVD/VHS, because Bobby is about to leave because he is sick of Grace playing games. He picks his bag up from the side, then is about to leave, then he suddenly drops his bag by the door, and runs over to Grace and kisses her. Jake then enters, and Bobby is hit. He then walks out of the room, and it cuts to Jake hugging Grace. It then cuts back to Bobby slinging the bag over his shoulder and leaving, so he doesn't leave without the bag.

Matilda (1996)

Corrected entry: After Matilda takes out her waffles and goes to check on her dad the toaster moves to another table.

Correction: The toaster never moves to another table, I've watched this over and over and it is always at the end of the long yellow counter.

Matilda (1996)

Corrected entry: On Matilda's first day at school, she gets out of the car and is holding her blue cardigan and school notebook in her arms, which she is still carrying as she enters the gate, but when the door opens and Miss Trunchbull comes out and the camera goes back to Matilda she isn't holding anything.

Correction: The scene starts with Matilda carrying her book and sweater to the school gates. It then cuts and the next shot is Matilda standing in the middle of the playground, surrounded by children playing. A big pile of bags, coats, sweaters, books etc. is visible as Matilda enters the school gates. Matilda most likely put her sweater and book down between the timespan of the two shots, then walked off into the playground with anticipation of meeting friends. The two shots are not consecutive, so it isn't a mistake.

Matilda (1996)

Correction: According to the special effects featurette on the DVD, the levitating pitcher scene was done by having the pitcher on a long pole. There was a hole in the table, and the pole was attached to the pitcher, then when it was time to make it float a crewmember would push the pole higher to make the pitcher "float" up. The pole was then erased by computers in post-production. No wires were used in this scene.

Matilda (1996)

Corrected entry: When Matilda and her family are in the living room all watching TV you can see the mother is not wearing sunglasses and then she is, and why would she be wearing them anyway?

Correction: In the TV scene she clearly puts her sunglasses on, they don't just "appear." The reason why she wears them isn't clear, but the family sure is weird, and the fact she wears sunglasses isn't a mistake, as the sunglasses are obviously meant to be worn by her, because they are so blatant.

13 Going On 30 (2004)

Corrected entry: When 30-year-old Jenna is getting ready to go to her first adult party on Wall Street, she's putting on her makeup rather heavily - what a 13-year-old would probably do. Bright pink lipstick, heavy blue eyeshadow, fake eyelashes, etc. Then she gets up and goes into her big walk-in closet. As she's looking through all her shoes and dresses, her makeup is much more subtle, most notably her eye shadow. It's not as blue and heavy.

Cal K.

Correction: When Jenna is applying her makeup heavily, she is still at her desk with curlers in her hair. When she enters the closet though, the curlers are out of her hair. There is obviously quite a big time-gap between these two shots, giving Jenna plently of time to change her mind about her makeup, and to reapply it.

13 Going On 30 (2004)

Corrected entry: When Jenna is getting dressed for the party, she picks up a very sexy frilly thong that is obviously way too big for her.

Toolio

Correction: Firstly, as Jenna picks up the thong, she stretches it outwards, making it appear bigger than it normally would. Secondly, the thong isn't that big, and how do you know it's too big for her?

Mr. Deeds (2002)

Corrected entry: In the restaurant Deeds says to Pam, "I'll get your coat", yet they leave the restaurant without it.

Correction: When they leave, Deeds walks into John Macenroe and Pam goes to the toilet. Deeds then talks with John, and probably forgets the coat. Anyway we later see John, Deeds and Pam walk off - Deeds may still get Pam's coat, perhaps in the restaurant lobby or elsewhere.
