Quotes
Teeny: Chrissy, truth or dare?
Chrissy: Truth.
Teeny: Have you ever been french kissed?
Chrissy: Are you kidding? I don't want to get pregnant!
Roberta: You can't get pregnant from french-kissing!
Chrissy: I know that, beetle-brain, but it's common knowledge that if you tongue-kiss a boy, he automatically thinks you'll do the deed with him. They can't help it. They're driven. It's the male curse.

Visible crew/equipment: In the big game of Red Rover at the beginning of the film, as Bobby runs over to the four girls, in one shot all of the four girls tape markers on the grass are extremely noticeable. Sam is standing on a red one, Chrissy on a blue one, Roberta on a green one and Teeny on a yellow one. They're obviously gone in all the following shots.
Revealing: When Sam trips over in the cemetery, she falls onto Dear Johnny's cracked tombstone. As she pushes down, the 'tombstone' squashes under her hands.
Factual error: Roberta has a Meet The Brady Bunch record on her desk. The release date for this record was 1972, yet this film is set in the summer of 1970.
Continuity: When the girls are cycling along with the War Veteran, in one shot the Veteran is walking down the middle of the road. In the next shot, he's walking on the grass at the side of the road.
Continuity: In the scene where Roberta is being pulled onto the sand you can see that the sand is on her shorts and hair, but in the next scene the sand is gone.
Continuity: When the girls hide behind the log and spy on the boys who are skinny-dipping, the behind of Teeny’s yellow shorts gets really dirty. Moments later when they cycle off, the rear of her shorts is now clean.

Continuity: During the café scene, Roberta's straw and spoon often change positions and swap places.
Continuity: After Sam's dad leaves, Sam gets out of bed, grabs her poncho and shoes and puts a bag over her shoulder. She puts her poncho and shoes out through the curtains twice, and as she climbs through and jumps out of the window, the bag has vanished from her shoulder.
Continuity: Chrissy is sitting on the driveway as Samantha, Roberta and Teeny paint the garage. Between shots she (and the radio and her sandals) moves much further up the driveway.
Continuity: When the girls go to visit Sam's grandma, she has only two glasses of lemonade ready. When she sees the other girls, she says 'Let's find some more glasses.' She's away for about five seconds and comes back with five full glasses. Are we expected to believe she got to the kitchen, got the three extra glasses and filled them with lemonade all in five seconds?
Continuity: When Sam's dad leaves, there is a grey Volkswagen Beetle parked on the street behind him. Yet in the previous shot it was parked on a driveway, not the street.
Factual error: Teeny watches Love Story on her roof, in the summer of 1970. However this movie, according to IMDb, was released on the 16th of December 1970.
Continuity: When Teeny arrives in her limo, she hugs Chrissy then Sam. As she hugs, she holds a pair of sunglasses in her hand which alternate from having the arms folded in/out between shots.
Continuity: When Chrissy, Teeny and Sam are standing near the barbecue and table of food talking, they turn to walk over to the foldout chairs and swings. As they turn around you can see by the tree are two flowery foldout chairs next to each other. But in the next shot when they walk over there, there's now a small flowery footstool in between the two chairs.
Continuity: In the softball game, a boy in a red shirt hits the ball, and the ball goes flying way past a boy in a black shirt. However in the following closeup, the boy in the black shirt catches the ball as if it never went past him.
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera pans along Sam's room, the black reflection of the passing camera is reflected in the crystal ball on her desk.
Continuity: When the girls are at the table, Samantha is doing her hair, and her white hairband is hanging from her arm. At frist it hangs by her armpit, but in the next shot it hangs from her wrist.
Continuity: When Sam says "it'll work," in the diner, she puts her spoon in her coke glass and puts her hand down on the table. In the next shot she raises the same hand up, now with the spoon magically in it.
