Continuity: When Mike first enters room 1408, there are three light switches on the wall. He flicks on two of them. A few seconds later, you see the switches behind him, but it is two different switches that have been flicked.

Continuity: When Mike opens the laptop, the screen is folded slightly backwards, in the following shots its positioned in a straight angle. Submitted by Sacha

Continuity: After slamming his hand in the window, mike bangs on the front door leaving blood on the left side of the map on the door. Later in the film, there is blood on both sides.

Continuity: When Mike goes to the window to call for help, his doppelganger across the street is mimicking Mike's every move. After waving their arms in mirror-image synchronicity, Mike leans to his right slowly, and so does the doppelganger.but it should have leaned to it's own left to mirror Mike's movement. Continuity: After using his UV light to search the room, Mike switches on the bedroom light, showing the one chocolate that should still be on the pillow is gone. The next shot of the pillow (after Mike notices the crooked painting) shows the chocolate is still there. Submitted by John W Rosa

Continuity: Mike wakes up in the frozen room, and the bottle is very close to his forehead. The angle changes to a wide one of him standing up, and the bottle is now half a meter away from him. Submitted by Sacha

Continuity: When Mike falls down from the ceiling, he falls on his back, but a second later from a closer angle he is crashing on the table on his butt. Submitted by Sacha

Continuity: When water starts to pour in the room Mike's hair is totally messy, except for a brief shot where it looks perfectly combed, and then back to messy. Submitted by Sacha

Continuity: Before the telephone melts the label of the bottle keeps moving around. Submitted by Sacha

Continuity: When Mike is speaking with Olin the first time, Olin has a handkerchief in his chest pocket, and two 'points' stick out. But after Olin tells Mike that he thought the "father was a bastard", there are three points sticking out for the rest of the conversation, even through the elevator ride. Submitted by John W Rosa

Continuity: As Mike scrolls through the microfilm, we see his view as the pages scroll from right to left. The shot then reverses to show his face through the scrolling film, but while the film is now properly reversed, it's still moving right to left in our view. Continuity: Mike fixes the boat painting, his hair and face are dry. He turns around and sits down and now he is all sweaty and with messy hair. Submitted by Sacha

Continuity: After Mike enters through the window, he lays down and his left arm is extended up to his head. Depending on the angle, in about 2 seconds it is in different positions, without him moving it. Submitted by Sacha
