Mistake Continuity: When Mumble is still a baby, his "bowtie" does not appear until Boss Skua has him pinned down under his foot. Then shortly after, it disappears again, only to reappear when Mumble falls into the crack in the ice.

Mistake Continuity: In the Boogie Wonderland sequence four female penguins can be seen singing behind Mumble and Gloria. When they sing "Who need more then they get." the penguin second from the viewers right has green eyes. Before and after that scene all four penguins have brown eyes.

Mistake Continuity: When Mumble is lying on the beach after his chasing of the ship, the jeep vehicle passes very near to his head, about a few inches, as seen by its tire tracks. In the next shot, when the jeep goes in reverse to pick Mumble up, we see the tire tracks very far from the original position.

Mistake Audio problem: Several times throughout the movie Mumble can plainly be heard gasping underwater - definitely breathing, not talking - although this would of course be impossible.
