Factual error: Near the end of the film when Barnes exchanges fire with Rudy and U.S. Customs Agents, he fires eleven shots from a revolver without reloading.

Factual error: When the Marine Colonel comes in to the control station to take over, there are two things wrong with his uniform. 1.) He has no name tape which should be over his right breast pocket and 2.) He has his sleeves rolled wrong. Marines roll their sleeves inside out so the lighter inside of the material is showing. He has his sleeves rolled correctly for the other branches, but not the Marines.
