The Benchwarmers (2006) - 5 corrections
Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click "make changes" when viewing mistakes, and click "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.
When Gus goes into the talking bathroom, he has a bandage on his right hand. When he is leaving the house after being "called out" on TV. The bandage is gone. [It is not a bandage, it is a bag of ice that he is holding. Gus carries it into the bathroom and sets it on top of the urinal. When he leaves the bathroom, he is carrying the bag of ice again. After he talks to the guys, he gets ready to leave. Even though you don't see him do it, you can hear him set the bag of ice down on a table.] Corrected by Rochelle McCarty
After Gus has given Jerry his nickname "Fairy Jerry," when Gus, Clark, and Richie leave Pizza Hut, Mel gets out of his car and tells Gus it was great the way he stood up to Jerry. How would he know? He was outside when this happened, and he was in his car too. [One of the kids inside, his son for example, could have run out right after it happened and told him. Its very possible considering so many people were around to witness it happening.]
When Gus, Clark, and Richie arrive at Mel's house for the first time, we see a view from the sky of them driving up, and there is nothing but plants and bushes around them. Then a few scenes later, a model of Darth Vader appears next to the bushes asking "who goes there?" [Actually, if you look very closely, you can see Darth Vader next to the driver's window as Gus pulls up (from the sky view). It's pretty hard to see, but it's there.]
When Mel tells the construction workers they have 24 hours to build the ball stadium, we see them do it. In real life, it is impossible to build something as big as a baseball stadium in 24 hours. [Although it is unlikely, assuming the proper materials and the right number of people are available before you start, it can certainly be done.]You may also like: Iron Man | Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story | The Simpsons | Batman Begins | Transformers
