Throughout the film, Burton is continuously called the wrong rank. He introduces himself to Huard as Lieutenant Commander Burton in the beginning. Then calls himself "A 36-year-old, out-of-shape Lieutenant" when he boxes Huard, and is called Lieutenant Burton by the boxing coach during the fight against Cole. See more...
