Mistakes
In the beginning when Happy first meets Chubbs, Happy backs his car into a couple of trash cans after Chubbs mentions big bucks. When Happy backs into the trash cans and stops he leans out the open window with his elbow over the side; you can see this through the back window. If you look in the background during one of the tournaments, you will see a few of Happy's fans holding cut out signs of his face. This is the same but blown up picture that is used in Billy Madison to mark what grade he was in.
Bob Barker got paid more for his little bit in the movie than Virginia did for the whole thing.
This is a small tidbit, but I thought it was a little bit interesting. When Happy is talking to Gary Potter for the first time there is an older gentlemen standing in the crown behind them that has a portable chair. At one point he drops it and wants to bend down to get it, but he pauses as though the directors might get mad.
The President of the tour, Doug, is the movie's director, Dennis Dugan.
Bob Barker did his own fight sequences, or at least most of them. He is reportedly a Black Belt in karate and a Red Belt in tang soo do.
