In one of the first practices that Sarah Jessica Parker and her dance partner have in the dance studio he is wearing a red shirt. When the camera angle changes he is wearing a purple shirt. [He is wearing a different shirt because it is supposed to be a new day. The whole scene showing them practicing is happening over a period of a few weeks, that is why the shirt differs.]

In the dance contest when they are announcing the finalists, they call out number 6 and show a black guy in a sweater jumping around for joy. He is in the line up afterwards when the director is speaking to the finalists, but his number is 7... a number that was never called. [Number 7 WAS called, it's just slightly muffled when the announcer calls it.]

In the scene where Janie is lying on the bed in her underwear while her dad cuts the tree she starts off wearing pink low cut knickers. Her brother comes in to say that Jeff will dance, and when Janie jumps up to hug him, she is wearing blue high cut briefs. [She is wearing high rise blue briefs with pink trim to them for the whole scene.]

When Shannon D is at the mall (in the tuxedo store) she looks out and says "there's Jess Parker and that really cool girl" she uses Sarah Jessica Parker's real name not her character's name, Janie Glen. [She actually says "Jeff's Partner".]
