Elizabethtown

Trivia: The movie opens in Portland, Oregon (as seen when the helicopter is flying over the city in the beginning). The Portland area is home to Nike (a big athletic shoe producer), and Nike's big name man and former CEO's name is Phil Knight. In the movie, the head honcho's name is Phil, dealing with athletic shoes in Portland, Oregon.

Trivia: In the Farmers Market at the end, when Claire's voiceover instructs Drew to "look for a girl in a red hat" some signs in the shape of arrows are visible near where Drew is standing. One says "success" and another says "failure." Drew finds Claire in the direction where "failure" is pointing.

Trivia: The rain in the cemetery scene with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst was not in the original script. Director Cameron Crowe decided to shoot the scene in the rain, because it looked more natural.

Continuity mistake: When Hollie takes the stage she passes the huge photo of Mitch, beside the stage. When facing the opposite side of the ballroom from the stage, near the wet-bar on the left, there is another huge photo of a younger Mitch. Later, when the sprinklers go off, those two framed photos have actually switched places. Connie grabs the photo of Mitch which was originally near the stage and exits near the bar, and in the last shot of Ruckus playing to an empty ballroom, the other photo is beside the stage. Drew Baylor: No true fiasco ever began as a quest for mere adequacy. A motto of the British Special Air Force is: 'Those who risk, win.' A single green vine shoot is able to grow through cement. The Pacific Northwestern salmon beats itself bloody on it's quest to travel hundreds of miles upstream against the current, with a single purpose, sex of course, but also... life.
