Mistake Continuity: After his father's funeral, when Drew turns on the ignition and in following shots, the leather band that he wears on his right wrist (not the watch) is clasped with its strap facing his thumb, yet when he passes the sign for 60B, the band goes round the opposite way. Then, when he listens to The Hombres the leather band is flipped back, but when he picks up Global Business Today magazine it's switched yet again, and so on. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: When Hollie takes the stage she passes the huge photo of Mitch, beside the stage. When facing the opposite side of the ballroom from the stage, near the wet-bar on the left, there is another huge photo of a younger Mitch. Later, when the sprinklers go off, those two framed photos have actually switched places. Connie grabs the photo of Mitch which was originally near the stage and exits near the bar, and in the last shot of Ruckus playing to an empty ballroom, the other photo is beside the stage. Mistake Continuity: In Kentucky, when Drew parks the car across the street from the Brown Hotel, in this nice clear close-up the rearview mirror is gone. It disappears in various other shots as well, such as when he pulls into the funeral home parking lot. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: When Drew is on the flight to Kentucky, there is an exterior shot of the airplane, which shows a massive jumbo jet, that accommodates hundreds of seats. In the interior shots of the airplane, there are 10-12 rows, totaling at most 72 seats in economy, and about 12 seats in first class, which makes for a very small airplane, similar to a Boeing 737-200. There is a very big difference in airplane size. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: During Mitch’s memorial, in the shot from behind Hollie, she places the mic on the stage floor directly in front of the multi-lamp borderlights, mounted at the edge of the entire stage. In the next shot facing Hollie from the audience POV, all four borderlights - each is 6-7 feet long - are actually gone and the entire stage’s wood edge is clearly seen. They are back in all following shots, except one, from the same angle, and they were also gone when Hollie said, “Something huge,” earlier. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: Before Claire changes into her uniform, in the shot of her back as she walks through the terminal, two crew members and the camera are reflected in the glass door in front of her. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: After Drew says, “And that’s the decision from California....sh*t....Oregon,” Lena takes Dale’s mug and refills it with coffee. Two shots later, she reaches for his mug again to refill it. Two shots after that Dale holds his mug up to drink, while Lena stands behind him. Then, in the next shot Lena is still refilling Dale’s mug. Even Dora’s actions are inconsistent in these shots. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: There are numerous moments where the reflector screens are reflected in characters' eyeglass lenses, such as when Dale tells Jesse, "You can't be buddies with your own son," there are clear reflections in Dale's lenses. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: During the road trip in Memphis, there is a close-up of Drew wearing Elvis sunglasses, and the camera and reflector shield are reflected in the lenses. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: When Hollie walks onto the stage at Mitch's memorial, she is wearing pretty black pumps with pointy toes and thin heels; these pumps are also seen in two more shots as she walks around on stage discussing life without Mitch. When Hollie places the mic on the stage floor to begin her tap dance, she is wearing tap shoes with wide flat heels and large silver taps at the toe. Hollie never changed shoes. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: On the airplane, when Claire walks into the cabin and spots Drew, to her left and right are large vertical white magazine racks mounted on the walls. When they land, as Drew is about to leave, the right magazine rack is gone. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: On his way to Etown, Drew pulls over to the side of the road because he missed 60B. In the two exterior shots of the car, the right front passenger headrest is attached to the seat. However, in all other shots it has been removed. Additionally, when Drew pulls his car alongside Claire's car to say goodbye, both of the front seats' headrests have been removed from her car just for that shot, as she looks out the back window. Mistake Visible crew/equipment: While on the road trip, just before the close-up of Drew’s fingers raising the CD volume for The Hombres, there is a shot facing the windshield as the car is moving and the shadow of the camera equipment mounted on the car is visible to the left of the hood, moving along with the car. Mistake Continuity: After just passing the Wichita sign during the road trip, there is a shot of Drew from the passenger side and both armrests are up, as he glances down at the urn. It cuts to a close-up of the urn and the armrest is down, but when it cuts back to Drew starting to pour his heart out, it is back up, and when it cuts back to the urn it’s down again. These specific four shots are consecutive time-wise. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: After Drew’s little fit over actually missing 60B, in the interior car shot when he continues driving, the concrete barrier dividing the highway is on his left, as he sees the huge Elizabethtown sign. In the next exterior shot of the sign, the road is entirely different with no concrete barrier, but when it cuts back to Drew getting all giddy, the barriers are back, etc. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: When Claire draws the map on the airplane, Drew lifts his glass, which has no ice and is more than half empty, and sighs. A few shots later, Drew’s glass is filled and has plenty of ice. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Factual error: In the scene where Drew begins his road trip to Elizabethtown, you see him traveling across a bridge into the city of Louisville. Elizabethtown is located south of Louisville as is the airport. Unless he was already lost, there's no way that he would have traveled that particular route. (The scene was obviously used to highlight the city in the movie).

Mistake Continuity: During Mitch's memorial, after Claire tells Drew, "I want you to get into the deep beautiful melancholy of..." there is a shot of the audience as Ruckus plays Freebird, and Hollie and Heather have their backs to the stage as they speak to someone, while everyone else is going wild. When it cuts to close-ups, both face the stage and Heather is jumping up and down yelling, and Hollie is laughing. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: When Drew stands in front of the Lorraine Hotel holding the photograph, the way he grips it noticeably differs between shots. Submitted by Rikki

Mistake Continuity: When Drew looks out the window of his apartment, in the first shot the four men load the pickup with Drew’s things, yet, two shots later, many of the bulky items are back on the sidewalk stacked up. Submitted by Rikki
