Please note: There are a few minor issues, such as Obi-Wan saying he hasn't used that name "since before you were born", among others, which can easily be attributed to character mistakes, ie. mis-remembering things, rather than "real" movie mistakes.

Mistake Continuity: When Padmé is in her apartment and Anakin is in the Jedi Council chamber, they look out across the city toward each other. The position of the setting sun and the direction of its light across their locations is not consistent given what we are shown about their relative positions and the directions they are facing.

Mistake Continuity: After Sidious has killed the Jedis, he confronts Windu. Windu then starts backing out the door and Sidious follows him while pointing his light saber up. When it cuts his saber points down before striking at Windu.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: During the battle between Sidious and the 4 Jedi, just after Sidious kills Tiin(the second Jedi he kills), you can see something in the bottom of the image, crossing from left to right that looks like the head of a crew man.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": In the final stages of the Obi-Wan/Anakin battle, they are fighting while floating over lava on a piece of metal. Just before Obi-Wan jumps to the high ground, we get a close-up shot of Obi-wan (lightaber pointing left off-screen) and then Anakin, (lightsaber pointing right off-screen) In this shot, Anakin's right hand is uncovered/real, and his left is gloved/mechanical, when it should be the opposite.

Mistake Continuity: When Padmé is brushing her hair on the balcony, her position changes between the second and the third shot, seen, for example, from the pattern on the floor. Her hairbrush and her arms change position between the first three shots too.

Mistake Other: During the scene of Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader, there is a close up shot of his face just before his helmet is put in place. All of his face is shown as being badly burned with the exception of his eyelashes, which are still impossibly there. Subjecting one's face to any heat source hot enough to sear one's face will also burn away one's eyelashes as well.

Mistake Continuity: During the Sidiuos and Yoda battle, the Emperor throws down several pods at Yoda that pile up on the floor. The pile changes in the number and position of the pods between scenes. This is especially noticeable when Yoda's lightsaber is shown falling to the ground, almost no pods are on the floor verses many pods when Yoda falls.

Mistake Continuity: When R2 is at the terminal near the beginning, the two super battle droids start to walk over to him and their red dots are on the left hand side but when they get to R2 they have moved to the right hand side.

Mistake Audio problem: In the scene where Ki-Adi-Mundi is killed on Mygeeto, he yells, "Come on", but the words don't match the movement of his lips. (He moves his mouth like the lips of a human, even though he's an alien.).

Mistake Continuity: In the Palpatine/Yoda light-saber duel during the second time they lock sabers, Palpatine's blade is pointed down, then in closeup of his face, his blade is at an upward angle. Then when it cuts back to Yoda, his blade is pointed down again even though blades were constantly locked. This may only be noticeable in widescreen.

Mistake Audio problem: In the scene where Anakin turns to the dark side, Darth Sidious says, "You're fulfilling your destiny, Anakin." As he says this, his head is shown from behind and is in shadow, but the words don't match the motion of his jaw, and his profile shows that his mouth is moving after the words are heard.

Mistake Continuity: When Anakin is talking to Yoda about his premonition, the shadows and the intensity of the sunlight shining through the windows keeps changing, depending on the camera angle.

Mistake Continuity: When Padmé is stroking her son's cheek, as she says, "Oh, Luke." the baby's hands are up by his mouth, which they weren't in the previous and following shots.

Mistake Audio problem: After Palpatine reveals to Anakin that he's a Sith Lord, he says, "But you're not sure of their intentions, are you?" When he stops talking, his mouth is still moving.

Mistake Continuity: When Palpatine appoints Anakin to be on the Jedi Council, as the first shot ends, they are quite far away from the large window and the column next to it. In the next shot, they are much closer to them. In the following shots from behind Palpatine, the background changes completely; for example, the window is gone, and a metal object and a shelf have suddenly appeared behind Anakin. Then, when Palpatine says, "I'm depending on you" they are suddenly standing in the doorway.

Mistake Continuity: When Dooku uses the Force to throw Obi-Wan through the air, in the shot where Obi-Wan hits the ground and is knocked unconscious, he's not holding his lightsabre, nor does it land anywhere near him (watch in slow motion for confirmation). When Anakin walks over to him later, it is suddenly lying next to him.

Mistake Revealing: When Anakin dropkicks Obi-Wan on the table you can see, even without slow motion, that his feet aren't near him at all.

Mistake Continuity: When Anakin is at the Mustafar system wiping out everyone, before he kills the last droid, he kills someone near the panels. When he falls dead to the ground his scarf is lying on his back. When it cuts the scarf is hanging down over his arm.

Mistake Continuity: When Anakin and Palpatine are talking and Palpatine says he is depending on Anakin to be "the eyes, ears and voice" for the republic, they are passing a column on Palpatine's side. When it cuts they pass it again.

Mistake Continuity: When Anakin cuts off Count Dooku's head we see him putting his arms down. When it cuts to Dooku falling Anakin is standing with both arms stretched out.
