Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mindy is showing Spongebob and Patrick "Planktopolis," it shows a large fully-built statue of Plankton. A few seconds later the right side of the head is shown missing and still being worked on.
Continuity mistake: The seaweed that SpongeBob and Patrick think is facial hair changes length throughout the "Now That We're Men" musical number.
Other mistake: At the beginning, the pirates find about five tickets in the treasure chest - nowhere near enough to admit all the pirates into the theater.
Continuity mistake: When Spongebob and Patrick approach the county line, they meet the two laughing fish; one is short and fat, one tall, thin and has two patches on his knees. These patches disappear in one shot; when the short fat one is bouncing on the other one's stomach and they're both laughing.
Continuity mistake: When the Goofy Goober Peanut starts singing to the kids, he has a lollypop in his hand, but when the pointing hand comes out of his stomach it is gone, and in the next shot it's back.
Continuity mistake: When Spongebob runs through the skulls to get to the Free Ice Cream Booth, a skull and bones fly out and land in front of the Patty Wagon. Two shots later though, they're gone.
Continuity mistake: There are bottles next to the chairs at the gas station, but they vanish when the taller guy says, "You two dipsticks ain't gonna last ten seconds over the county line!"
Continuity mistake: The pattywagon has pickles for wheels but when they pull up to the gas station, they are just regular green wheels.
Continuity mistake: When every one in the rough tub bar are told to line up, SpongeBob is standing next to a fish with an eyepatch. When showed from behind the fish is orange but is later dark green.
Continuity mistake: When the boys drive up to the gas station, the guys in the rocking chairs start a conversation with them. The guys' last words are "You boys won't last 10 seconds over the county line." The boys drive about five feet over the county line, and some guy steals the Patty Wagon. When the boys ask the guys how long it took, you can see that they are closer to the county line than before.
Factual error: King Neptune's crown changes size when Plankton steals it and when SpongeBob and Patrick retrieve it.
