All three survive the crazy trucker 'rusty nail'. When his truck crashes through the hotel wall in a hail of bullets and a body is found in the driver seat the police believe it is him, however when the surviving victims see the tattoo on his arm they know it is not him, then they hear his voice on the ambulance CB radio and know 'rusty nail' is still alive and at large.
