Continuity mistake: Dr. Ock punches a yellow cab which flips over and is about to land on its side, inches away from the floor. When the angle changes, the cab is now a couple meters above from the floor, with a cab underneath, plus it's falling on it's 4 wheels.

Continuity mistake: Spidey falls on a puddle and takes off his mask, his hair completely messy and wet. A frame later, when he is about to climb a wall, it's neat and brushed.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Ock kidnaps Mary Jane and walks by a bluish car with a girl laying on the hood, panicking, a boom mic is reflected on the windshield.

Continuity mistake: During the train fight, Spider-Man is about to be run over by a passing train, and he leans against the windows to avoid it. From the front angle his body is leaning on two separate windows, but from the angle inside it's leaning on a single one.

Continuity mistake: Dr. Ock is showing his tentacles and says "Let the show begin" and walks by a round platform on his left. When the angle changes he is behind the platform and is walking past it again.

Continuity mistake: Mr. Ditkovich takes a 20$ bill from Peter and his daughter throws a spoon on the burning stove. A frame later the spoon has turned 180ยบ around.

Continuity mistake: Dr. Ock's machine creates a tritium ball, and projects several light beams towards it. Just a frame later, in the close-up, the pattern of the beams is completely different.

Continuity mistake: During the bank robbery, Aunt May cries "Don't leave me!" and the distance between her head and the bank worker's swaps from close to far between one frame and the next.

Continuity mistake: When Spidey runs out of web and plummets on some metal tubes, he lands with both arms up. A frame later one is up and another by his side.

Continuity mistake: When aunt May places flowers by her husband's grave a green plant suddenly appears on the left side, between shots.

Continuity mistake: In the bank, when Dr. Ock is throwing bags with coins at Spidey, a bunch of folders on the right appear / disappear randomly depending on the shot.

Continuity mistake: During the cafe scene, Mary Jane's hair on her left side is stuck under her hat. When the angle changes, it's not.

Continuity mistake: Dr. Ock points at the chip with his finger on his nape, but when the angle changes the finger is away and is approaching the nape again.

Continuity mistake: Dr. Ock flies through the bank window and crashes against a cab, next to a metal cabinet. The cabinet changes positions between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Ock is thrown out of the bank he breaks a shop window, leaving no glass bits standing out of the frame. A second later there are glass part all around the window.

Continuity mistake: Spider-Man falls on a puddle and looks at the wall in front. There's a window to his right, barely a metre from the floor, and an emergency staircase on the left. When he starts climbing, the staircase disappears and the window is now 10 metres above the ground, on the left side.

Continuity mistake: After knowing that Mary Jane is to be married, Spider-Man falls on a puddle, but no water drips from his suit. Seconds later, he falls again and now water does drip.

May Parker: We need a hero, couragous sacrificing people, setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero, people line up for 'em, cheer for them, scream their names, and years later tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who told them to HOLD ON a second longer. I believe theres a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble. And finally gets us to die with pride. Even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want most, even our dreams.

Question: What exactly does Aunt May mean when she says, "What do you mean 'we'" after Spider-Man tells her, "We sure showed him"? Is she just being modest?

Answer: She's actually being funny because she thinks that she did all the work, instead of Spider Man.

Answer: I later found out it could have been a reference to a Spider-Man comic. In the comic, after he rescues a girl from a bad guy, she says "We sure showed him!" There is a thinking bubble by Spider-Man's head saying "We?" It's like the conversation in the movie but in reverse.
