Question: After Tess (Anna) is on the TV show, Ryan, Harry and Grandpa leave when they find that Tess has already left. When Anna (Tess) gets home to find Harry on the table, he and Grandpa are at home, so why is it that when Tess is riding home on the motorbike Ryan drives past, only to arrive home again?

Answer: The guy said that she had been removed from the building, the dialogue never said she'd gone home. In the very next scene you see her in the coffee shop where Jake works...so by the time that Ryan sees her on the back of the bike he could have taken Grandpa and Harry home and then gone out for some other reason.

Question: When the family are going out the door to go to the wedding rehearsal, Tess shouts 'Shotgun.'. What does "shotgun" mean? I'm sure I've heard it in other American films.

Answer: It is a claim to ride in the front passenger's seat, rather than in the back seat. On an American western stagecoach, the guard sat up top with the driver, carrying a shotgun, although that position was only referred to as "shotgun" in westerns, not at the actual time. Question: What's the name of the song that Anna's band sings for their audition? And is there anywhere I can hear it or buy it or has someone actually released it?

Answer: It's called 'Take Me Away' by Christina Vidal. It's on the movie soundtrack.

Question: Why do Tess and Anna not switch bodies at the Chinese Restaurant? At the end when 'selfless love' changes them back, they switch right away. Why did this not happen at the start?

Answer: You need to think back to the poem... "A journey soon begins, its prize reflected in another's eyes. When what you see is what you lack, then selfless love will change you back." It says a journey SOON begins, not immediately, and it says "WHEN what you see...change you back". Basically the switch happens SOON, the switch back happens IMMEDIATELY.

Question: What are the drummer and Anna/Tess saying to each other during the band audition? I've watched it a lot, and i can never get the part where Anna has a short monologue.

Answer: Drummer: "what are you doing?" Anna/Tess: "I don't know, it's not working." Drummer: "Just do it".
