After the scene where Stryker tells the old lady about the trial after the crash, he is holding a purple cup. Before he started telling the story there was no cup to be seen. [Well, if he is "telling" the entire story of what we "see" taking place in court, he had plenty of time to have a drink served to him. Just because we don't see him getting it, doesn't mean it's a mistake. This simply marks the passage of time, indicated by the fact that he had time to get the drink.]
