Continuity: As the New Main Street Singers are performing their second song at the show, you can see Parker Posey pretend to use her guitar as a shotgun. The strap for the guitar drops from her shoulder down to her right forearm when she does this. When the shot changes the strap is back up over her shoulder.

Trivia
The cover of Mitch and Mickey's record "Meet Mitch and Mickey" is a reference to the cover of "Meet the Beatles." See more...
Continuity: When Jonathan Steinbloom is introducing Mitch and Mickey at the concert, he has the blue paper in his right hand and it's lifted up to around his chest. However, when we see a shot of him from behind, both hands are by his sides. Immediately when the shot changes to show him from the front, his hand is at his chest again.
Continuity: In addition to the son of the dead guy's stuff jumping from disorganized to organized and back again, at the beginning his pen is seen sitting diagonally on top of his paper. But when he goes to organize it, he slides it onto the paper from the left, meaning it suddenly jumped onto the desk. There's also what appears to be a coin purse in a box which goes from disorganized to organized and back again, even though he never touches it.
Continuity: In the very beginning of the film, when the son of the guy that just passed away is showing the interviewer how organized he is, he moves his pen onto the bottom of his folder, together with another object. In the next shot, both the pen and the object are placed exactly how they were before.
Continuity: When Mitch is sitting on the bed in his hotel room talking to the camera, the cap from one of the pill bottles on the bedside table disappears from one shot to the next.
Continuity: When Mickey is introducing the song, Mitch is preparing to play. His hand is sometimes making the opening chord, and sometimes it's by his side. They must have used different takes for this scene and patched them together.
Continuity: When the dead guy's son is meeting with Ed Begley Jr. about the show, Begley's hand goes from playing with his pen to being flat on the table from shot to shot.
