Entry When the cast and crew were filming Holes, they filmed it in an actual desert where the temperature reached to 50C(120F). They only filmed 20 minutes at a time so they wouldn't suffer from the extreme heat.
Entry The first time you see Sam selling his onions, a nearly bald man comes up to him (Mr. Collingwood) and Sam advises him to use onion cream on his head so hair will grow. Mr. Collingwood is Louis Sachar, the author of the book Holes.
Entry Stanley Yelnats the 2nd (Caveman's grandpa) is the director's(Andy) dad.
Entry In the last few scenes of the movie you see the Attorney General (he's the man with the cowboy hat and round sunglasses) this man is also the Stunt director/organiser. He contributed a lot to the film as all the stunts where organised by him so the director decided to give him a small part as a way of saying thank-you.
Entry Shia Lebouf's name means "thank God for beef.".
Entry When Kate Barlow shoots the sheriff, the prisoner in the first jail cell is Andy Davis's son.
Entry During the credits the song "If Only" comes on, and none other than Joe Sumner (Sting's son, if you don't recognize the last name) is singing it.
