Continuity mistake: Lucy drags George into a restroom by pulling his tie. However, when the camera angle changes to inside, the way the tie has got loose is only possible if one pulls at the knot. Also the formerly buttoned collar is now wide open. (00:32:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene in the bathroom where Sandra is stuck in Hugh's belt her hair colour changes, it is much darker in one shoot. On the DVD with commentary they tell you it's a reshoot. (00:33:55)
Continuity mistake: When Lucy is on the ground after being hit by the ball during the tennis match, George is bending over her and there is a man behind him. When the camera changes to a different angle, that person is running towards them to the point where he was standing before. (00:35:10)
Continuity mistake: When George and Lucy are talking on the rooftop, their hair blows in the wind continuously. Each closeup, however, there is no wind and their hair is completely still and coiffed. (00:36:55)
Continuity mistake: When up on the roof eating cake, it focuses on Lucy speaking. In one shot she lowers her fork to her plate, then she raises her hand to her face quickly. But then in the next shot her hand is down by her plate and she once again raises her hand, now holding her fork. (00:37:15)
Continuity mistake: Hugh and Sandra are on the roof eating cake. In one shot, Hugh's cake is almost gone. When the camera goes back to him, there is more cake on his plate. (00:37:20)
Continuity mistake: When George is playing chess with his chauffeur, George takes two turns in a row, the chauffeur does not make a move. In his second turn he captures one of his opponent's men, which has then disappeared at the end of the scene as the camera pulls back. (00:38:25)
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant scene where they talk about the Hepburns, George can be seen moving his ice over to Lucy's glass. During the rest of the scene he has ice in his glass anyhow. (00:41:05)
Continuity mistake: In one scene where George talks to Lucy in her office he is wearing a coat over his tennis outfit. The collar of the coat changes several times between folded up and down. (00:41:15)
Continuity mistake: When Hugh and Sandra are on his yacht, while she is walking down the stairs she spills white wine, but in the next shot she has red wine. (00:42:55)
Continuity mistake: When Lucy collapses on George's yacht a wine bottle in a cooler appears on a small table right where they are standing. (00:44:40)
Continuity mistake: George carries the passed-out Lucy to his apartment and places her on a sofa on which there are lots of pillows. In a close-up of Lucy all pillows are gone. (00:45:30)
Continuity mistake: After Lucy has spent the night at George's place they sit down outside on a huge flower container. Lucy puts her bag next to her with the handles pointing straight up. They talk, and when we see the bag next it has opened up and the handles are crossed. (00:46:55)
Other mistake: Alicia Witt's character is introduced as June CARVER, but at the film's end titles (and also on the DVD's cast list screen) she is billed as June CARTER. On the audio commentary, writer Marc Lawrence explained the name change... but it seems that he forgot to let the titling people know. (00:47:05 - 01:32:25)
Continuity mistake: When June is brought to Lucy's office you see Lucy's reflection in the glass partition and she's looking at the door. When the camera angle changes Lucy is looking down, cleaning her blouse. (00:47:30)
Continuity mistake: During June's interview, Sandra's hair alternates between being behind her ear and in front of her ear between shots. (00:48:50)
Audio problem: At the beginning of the baseball game you see some action with a voice-over of George and Lucy. However, they are visible in the background and not saying anything. (00:50:15)
Continuity mistake: At the baseball game Lucy prevents a player to catch the ball by hitting it away. In close up she is hitting it up in the air, in the next wide shot the ball just drops to the ground. (00:51:00)
Continuity mistake: At the tennis match June and George do a high five at 30:0 and George walks off to the right (left from his point of view). In the next shot he is left of June again, and he walks to the right again to finally serve from the wrong side. (00:52:10)
Continuity mistake: When Lucy gets hit in the head by a tennis ball she falls to the floor. In a wide shot, you can see her ponytail by her shoulder, and it's a bit messy and parted, but in a closeup of her asking if she has concusion, her hair is all in one nicely combed ponytail. (00:53:00)
