Continuity mistake: Rosemary talks to Terry Gionoffrio in the basement as they both do their laundry. She interrupts their conversation to put fabric softener into the machine and if you listen closely the washing machine is empty as she pours it in. (00:13:45)

????

Continuity mistake: In the basement Rosemary talks to Terry Gionoffrio who shows the good luck charm that the Castevet's had given her. At first Rosemary holds it between the thumb and first finger of her right hand, but then in the next shot her thumb has moved to the right and is no longer touching the charm. (00:14:15)

????

Continuity mistake: She rings the buzzer and as Rosemary looks threw the peep hole Minnie has one big curler on her forehead. In the next shot as she walks through the door, her scarf covers the curler. (00:20:00)

????

Revealing mistake: As Rosemary looks at Minnie through her door the peep hole is obviously held up by hand in front of the camera as it is moving around considerably. (00:20:05)

????

Continuity mistake: Rosemary is using a yardstick to draw a line on a piece of paper as Guy walks in and tells her that Donald Baumgart got the part in the play that he was hoping for. She goes into the kitchen to get him a beer and returns to what she was doing and everything has been moved without anyone going near it. Most notable is the book rack and the piece of foam to the left of her. (00:22:30)

????

Visible crew/equipment: As they discuss going over to the Castevet's for dinner Rosemary says, "No, we don't have to go if you don't want to" as Guy eats. You can see the shadow of a crew member move in the center of the screen on the wall behind him. (00:24:05)

????

Continuity mistake: Minnie and Roman have Rosemary and Guy over to their apartment and Roman serves drinks to them as they sit on the couch. We can see the bottom of the silver platter that he uses to serve the drinks and it's totally dry, but in the next shot vodka blush is dripping from it onto Minnie's carpet. (00:25:10)

????

Continuity mistake: In the Castevet's apartment Roman spills the vodka blush on the floor and Minnie points at him with her left hand extended in front of her. In the next shot her hand has been lowered and is at the same level as her legs. The blue towel in her lap has also been moved to the left. (00:25:15)

????

Continuity mistake: In the Castevet's apartment Rosemary asks Roman, "Do you come from Australia?" and the lighting has been changed as a shadow appears on the left arm of the couch next to Guy that wasn't there two shots ago. (00:25:20)

????

Continuity mistake: Roman walks back to the bar after he spills the vodka blush on the carpet. There's a typewriter on a movable desk, to right of his easy chair, that has been moved since Rosemary and Guy walked into the apartment. The tip-off is the design on the carpet underneath the easy chair. (00:25:25)

????

Continuity mistake: Minnie asks, "Where are you folks from?" and we see the wall behind Rosemary and Guy is in shadow. No-one turned any lights on or off but, when they first sat down, the wall behind the couch was lit up. (00:25:45)

????

Continuity mistake: At dinner Minnie passes Rosemary a piece of cake and the water in Rosemary's glass goes from half full to three quarters full between shots. (00:27:05)

????

Continuity mistake: The cake that Minnie serves after dinner is cut into six pieces. Rosemary and Guy each get a large peace and Minnie also eats a large piece, but if you look at the cake dish half of it is untouched but there's still an extra large piece lying there. (00:27:20)

????

Continuity mistake: Rosemary and Guy Joke around in their apartment after dinner with the Castevet's and Guy unbuttons and pulls his shirt out of his pants as he gets undressed. He walks off camera for few seconds and comes into view again with his shirt tucked back in his pants, only to take it off again a few seconds later. (00:29:30)

????

Deliberate mistake: Guy surprises Rosemary and tells her that maybe it's time that they can start having children. They have a romantic evening together (at least until the Castevet's show up) and there's a shot of the record player. A lot of time has gone by since Minnie and Laura-Louise paid Rosemary a visit and we saw the record player before, but everything is exactly the same, the yellow garbage pale in the kitchen, the shadows on the wall, and the same record playing on the record player. They obviously edited in the same shot from before. (00:30:25 - 00:37:30)

????

Continuity mistake: Rosemary puts a record on her turntable and we see a yellow garbage pail in front of a yellow high chair in the kitchen. After Minnie and Laura-Louise walk into the living room, Rosemary walks over to turn the record player off and we see that the yellow garbage pail is gone. (00:30:30)

????

Continuity mistake: Minnie and her, "good friend, Laura-Louise" come to the door while Rosemary is reading a book on the sofa. Rosemary puts the book down on the sofa and when she returns it moves about a foot to the right of where it originally was placed. The pillow on the right of the sofa has also been moved. (00:31:05)

Trivia: The director, Roman Polanski, started the trend of an actor walking into a room and then going to the left, or right, and disappearing behind a wall and the audience when they first saw this shifted to their right, or left, so they could see around the corner. I don't think the director expected this but it did happen.

Chosen answer: No, Dr. Hill was not a Satan worshiper. He was just Rosemary's first obstetrician, referred to her by a friend. However, her neighbors, the Castevettes, later convince her to instead go to their friend, Dr. Abe Sapperstein, who is a warlock.
