Continuity mistake: Suddenly, with no explanation, Samson is playing with his right arm in a cast and sling for the last two plays of the 1st half. Then he isn't wearing one in the locker room at halftime. He's on the sideline for all of the second half and is slinged up for most of the shots.
Paul Crewe: My, you have lovely hair. You ever find any spiders in it?
Trivia: When the film was released Burt Reynolds arranged to have this film shown in maximum security prisons all over the US, because the prisoners obviously couldn't get to the theaters to see it themselves.
