Deliberate mistake: Am I REALLY supposed to believe that a helicopter is capable of hovering above the top of Mt Everest? [In the DVD specials, the filmmakers say that they're absolutely aware that it's not possible for a helicopter to hover above Mt Everest. They just thought it would be a funny scene if a helicopter pulled the dead guy away from the mountain.] (00:02:15)
Mr. Deeds (2002)
1 deliberate mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Steven Brill
Starring: Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Winona Ryder, John Turturro, Peter Gallagher, Allen Covert
Other mistake: Near the end of the movie, directly after Deeds pulls Babe out of the ice cold water, is it just me or is her Old-Navy-type jacket still dry? (It still looks light colored and fuzzy) Should it not be wet considering her whole body was just in water? (01:14:25)
Murph: Look at Deedsy haning out with McEnroe! That's awesome.
Crazy Eyes: I love the Beach Boys.
Trivia: Sticking with the To Kill A Mockingbird references, in the scene where Deeds and Pam are outside of Pam's "apartment" and the old lady and dog walk out. She calls the lady "Mrs. Finch" and the dog "Atticus". Atticus Finch was the main characters name in To Kill A Mockingbird.
Question: Deeds tells the fat opera singer that he looks like Mr. French, who exactly is Mr. French?

Chosen answer: Mr. French was the butler on a TV show from the late 60's, called Family Affair. He was played by Sebastion Cabot, a rotund actor.
