We see where his torso is in an overhead shot, but in one side shot of the room his torso has vanished from the same spot. When this happens, not a single drop of blood manages to hit the kidnapped siblings, despite the fact that a man was just dismembered just a few feet above their heads. Trivia: The only film role of Shawna Loyer, who portrays the "Angry Princess." Because of the character's constant nudity, and the role being Loyer's only credited on-screen performance, for many years, it was believed that Loyer was actually a pornographic actress working under a pseudonym. This rumor was further fueled by the later production of "13 Erotic Ghosts," a porn parody of the film, as people speculated Loyer was also one of the actresses who appeared in it. The rumors have since been disproved. Loyer is not a porn-star working under a pseudonym, nor did she appear in the porn parody.

Question: At the end, is Cyrus a ghost or a real person? If he's a ghost, why can he be seen without the glasses?

Answer: He's alive. He faked his death at the beginning of the movie to get Arthur and his children into the house, because only then would he be able to force Arthur to engage the 13th Ghost. When Cyrus is seen at the end of the movie, he is disguised with the blood patch to make it appear that he is dead to a casual observer with the glasses (everyone is wearing them at this point) and prevent Arthur from being able to figure out his plan.
